Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I don't understand the hate around this game , it"s "meh" at worst , and fun at best! The game's amazingly pretty , the way the game works is the same then other games of the serie... If it is hated for his story (wich isn't the best , true) , it's overhated. Good game , if it's on sale and your bored , you should take it
Homeworld 3 is a 3d RTS that doesn't care if you can wrap your head around 3 dimensions. Lemme 'splain. You can order your units around the "map" in 3 dimensions, and give them very specific orders about where you want them to park. While the movement tool isn't incredibly easy to use, it's not awful. But you'll probably never have to do that. If you want your interceptor squadron to go attack those bombers, you click on the bombers and get a good visual feedback that you have indeed clicked on the hotspot, so you know your interceptors are on their way to the target. How does Homeworld 3 stack-up to Homeworld and Homeworld 2? It is definitely an improvement over Homeworld. Everything just works better, and of course the graphics are an improvement. For me, Homeworld 2 is the best in the series. In HW and HW 3, when I click the button to build a scout fighter, my mothership queues-up one scout fighter to build. In HW2, when I click the same button, it builds one squadron. That made things *much* easier to interact with, made it easier to build battle groups, and just made the UI easier to use. Because seriously: why would you ever need to build one bomber? If you need one, you need a squadron. So when I click "build bomber," build a useful number. If they had kept that little nicety in HW3, I would call this the best game in the series. That being said: if you like the Homeworld games, this is another one and you will probably like it. As far as I can tell, if you've played either of the previous games, you should be able to jump right into Homeworld 3 without needing to play the tutorial. Like the first two games, the first mission includes a completely adequate tutorial.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

worst junk ever... but ehhh i kinda liked it... oh also i had preordered ts
A genuine disappointment
I rarely write about games i buy, but this one needs a few words. I loved the first two homeworlds and even liked Desert of Kharrak, but when the game came out reviews were very negative. So i waited for it to be on sale to give it a try. And i'll make it short. Its a fail from beginning to the end. Btw i really took my time and with tutorials and all i am through it all after 10 hours. A joke of a campaign. The playtime though is a lot less, cause this game won't let you play frickin two minutes without a stupid cutscene, ofte in the mid of a micro management try. Of the 10h game its 7h movies and cut scenes. Its more an interactive movie than a game. The cutscenes are from the early 2000's quality wise and the story is so stupid that you are really happy when a cutscene ends. But is it a good game in the few minutes that you get? No - and that is the most frustrating part. They botched up the controls really bad. Units just take their own decisions. They dont't attack the given targets, Control groups and formations dont work, the units change behavior. But really the worst part is that they just don't follow given orders. You have to follow each group and spam the orders for them to slowly execute them. This makes you, out of desperation, form a large fleet and just move that large fleet all the time, to make sure the right targets ar beeing attacked. They tried to be fancy and create tunnels and 3D terrain - but botched it completely. The tunnels don't work most times, the terrain just makes your fleet creating absolutely gaga routefinding that you have to adjust their paths every damn second. The "modern" controls are much worse than the good old ones from H1 (take the old ones). The mission design could be ok if it wasnt just this few of em. If it was thirty or so it would have given the game a proper length but look at my play time - im a slow player that collects everythin in a mission and does everythin possible before moving on - and im done after 10 hours - including all tutorials. This is Homeworld from temu. A botched wanna be game that became a movie with horrible design, horrible controls, and still a lot of bugs after all this time after release. Its a frickin mess!
I actually recommend this game if you have a good - very good PC. It runs on steam deck pretty well, Idk what all the hates about. Never crashed once. IF I was to pick something that needs improvement it would be the AI path ways since its decent, it works as it should, but once every 50 ships a ship will go into a bit of debris. The AI battles are super cool and as long as you have a good pc it will run. PS, when I said it runs on steam deck, im referring to the LCD one with low-medium graphics. (I should of looked at CD Keys before this since there its only £3)
I was a bit disheartened after looking at the reviews but after seeing a few people see that it is probably a good game if you didn't play the original Homeworld's I gave it a try. I tried Homeworld 2 but did not enjoy it at the time. The campaign is enjoyable and I like the variety of ships. The missions have all been unique so far and fun.
I mean the level of production, the immersion of gameplay, the breathtaking story. The fans should be ashamed of what they've done to the game's reviews. 100% recommended. Don't listen to the whiny prequel fans.
