Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A great entry to the series that doesn't deserve the hate that it receives. I would not rate it as highly as HW1, HW2 or Cataclysm, but it is a solid Homeworld experience. The new engine looks pretty good and handles adequately. Campaign missions were fewer than I would have liked, but very fun none the less. Wargames feel basic and could have been better with further iteration. The story was somewhere between meh and mid. Definitely not great, but not in any way worthy of the political hate train that inspires most reviews. I am all for objectively reviewing games for the good and the bad, but this is a case of a game that will never get its proper chance due to a blind hate train. I have been playing HW since I was a kid and, while HW3 is far from a perfect game, I am very glad we got it. Due to the success of the the review bomb, support finally ended for the game and there is unlikely to be any further developer iteration on the engine or systems of the game. We may have to wait years if ever for a proper mod scene to develop, but one can always hope!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

♥♥♥♥♥♥ knockoff of HM1, HW2, & Era One The mechanics are dumbed down and the campaign is one long piss on the ones that came before it. I made the mistake of backing this game on Fig - needless to say I won't repeat that error ever again.
Big disappointment of a game.
Cortisimo y nada de estrategia solo spam de naves.
Got it on sale. Its not great. Seems to be abandoned. Still needs some fixing. Worst offender bug is the camera controls lose their mind frequently. I get locked into a camera mode where I can only alter elevation. Sometimes switching view modes breaks it free, sometimes not. The pathfinding seems to find the worst route, often moving ships to the back side of structures separating the fleet strength to a point where this fails missions. The UI for positioning in 3d space is nonintuitive and might as well be a 2d experience. Your rarely know what altitude your fleet is heading for. There are some unskippable cutscenes in campaign on obscenely one sided missions so every time you restart you are stuck listening to a forced briefing. Blowing up stuff in space games is usually my thing but I may not make it through this one.
等了好多年,结果端上来一坨大便
Got this game on sale which helped a lot. Zero crashes, game runs smooth as and most UI is very responsive. The scanning menu is a bit janky but apart from that the base game mechanics work well. The campaign story is great with interesting cut scenes and full voice acting accompanied by a great score. Thoroughly enjoying it.
