Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.38/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I first played Homesick over 10 years ago when it was new, and since then I somehow still thought of it every once in a while, so I finally replayed it now in 2026. This game may be very indie and obvious that it's Kickstarter-backed (there are parts later on where you can see this), and it has some of the problems that walking sim-type games tend to have, but it does what it sets out to do very well. If it could be summed up in one word, it's "atmosphere". Or maybe "melancholy"? Anyway, the melancholic atmosphere is just so good. The environments are beautiful and perfectly convey the main themes of the story, and the nightmare sections look cool and unsettling but fit the narrative as well. There's also some excellent sad piano (and cello) for a soundtrack, which is a big part of the feel of the game. Gameplay-wise, the puzzles are well designed and satisfying to do. It might get frustrating for some players but there are plenty of environmental hints if you explore and they make logical sense, so I don't think they're too hard though the solutions are not immediately obvious. And once you understand what's going on in the story, it also makes sense why the puzzles are the way they are. Overall, I enjoyed it more than other games categorized as walking sims. Very good, still love it.

less than 2 hours, like 5 puzzles of how to fill a water bucket, ending of "that's it?", the only relevant text once decoded is the elevator instruction, game just aint worth the full price.
While the game would have otherwise COULD HAVE been good, there are two major issues with it. One plagues the vast majority of the "walking simulator" genre, and it's the snail waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalking speed. The other multiplies it a hundred times. Once you get the very first nightmare and read the sign on the door ("keep the hall lights on"), reading every letter becomes really trivial, but rather time consuming. So you are just forced to waste time walking, and waste time reading... I dunno if at some point you get them auto-decoded, I dropped the game after going through about 15 full-size pages. ... Maybe it would have been worthwhile if they weren't smalltalk about nothing ...

I chuckled and requested the robot on a whim to make me a “nothing”. Its display showed: “acknowledged”, and seemed to start computing. I was stunned, nervous and curious. I was expecting an “invalid input” or “error”. A Short time later, it asked what supplies I had on hand? Astonished. With failure to think of something cleaver to answer: “Uh, I haven't got anything.” “You got anything?” ”No I have nothing.” ”Request accomplished”
Homesick is a first-person exploration and puzzle game set in a deserted city after an unspecified catastrophe. You wander through empty interiors and a delapidated building, solving environmental puzzles while trying to understand what happened. I really loved this one. Even though the pace is painfully slow, the atmosphere completely makes up for it. The sense of isolation, the quiet world, and the subtle storytelling pulled me in and kept me engaged. It’s calm, melancholic, and immersive — the kind of game where mood and ambiance carry the entire experience, and for me, it worked beautifully.
