Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Tantas... Y no hemos muerto. Tantos turnos, me refiero.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Great game. They really should have just kept adding campaigns to this instead of coming out with other, inferior editions.
Bought it just to have cloud saves and this version doesn't support them. Just buy it in gog
Lovely game - but I feel a bit sad that Ubisoft releases the original version on Steam 10 years after putting this version out. I bought this game and two copies as gifts, but now I would have to buy the 1999 version that came out last week to be able to play the expansions. Even the free expansion Horns of the Abyss only came out on the 1999 version, leaving us HD edition players stranded. Should I now pay 10 dollars to downgrade my HD-edition to play the game with expansions as intended?
A legend. Not much else to say. Heroes of Might & Magic III is still one of the most addictive strategy games ever made. The gameplay loop — “just one more turn” — works dangerously well even today. Tactical battles, town development and map exploration are perfectly balanced and it’s incredibly satisfying whether you play casually or min-max every resource. Story isn’t really the point here, but that never mattered — the gameplay carries everything. Even decades later, many players still return to it regularly, which says more than any review score. The real problem is the HD Edition port. Yes, the graphics are smoother, but for the price you mostly get cleaner textures while losing compatibility with major community expansions and mods like WoG or Horn of the Abyss, which for many fans are basically the definitive way to play Heroes III today. Because of that, the HD version is often considered inferior to the original Complete Edition with fan content. + timeless gameplay and tactics + extremely addictive + huge replayability − minimal story importance − HD Edition lacks mod/expansion support − questionable value of the remaster
