Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 38/day in the week to Aug 25 → 45.57/day in the week after.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

What can I say...the game has potential to become a good game BUT For my personal experience that I've had so far: - Unstable FPS, specially when you play in group - Many microtrans. for QoL ( FOR EXAMPLE, INVENTORY SLOTS). If it was for the skins I would not say anything, but for the game itself..MEH - The DLC is optional, but making it a content to pay and then became possibly free (in the future) is an insult for me that I've paid for it, but WHATEVER. - (And for the meme, the cherry on the top) I've became homeless for that BAD and DISGUSTING DROP RATE of the Goburin's Head So at the end, the game can give you some good time on it and a pleasant feel of progression while you're levelling, BUT when you're gonna come on the end game and start to looking something on particular, it feels you're stuck with no progression. Leading to that heavy feeling of beign stagnant and ultimately removing the fun you had before ( from the prospective of a not full knowledgeable player).

The devs copy the mechanics of other ARPGs but implement them halfway 'cause they never understand what makes those mechanics fun.
I re-installed the game after a long break a few days ago when I heard about the new season... and damn, I seem to have forgotten how aggressively monetized every single corner of this game is. And it isn't even free to play. The price of admission to get a somewhat decent roster of heroes is quite substantial... Yet almost everything that can be monetized in this game is monetized. And the most annoying part? I could overlook the sheer amount of MTX, because the actual ARPG underneath is quite fun and engaging. But it's so relentlessly in your face... every other inch you look, something is locked behind a purchase. A "store" or "shop" button on almost every menu screen? Check! The vast majority of character classes in the game are MTX? Check! MTX items on character "customization"? Check! Inventory tabs that are always visible from the start but locked behind a purchase? Check! Other inventory tabs (runes etc.) that are always visible but locked behind a purchase? Check! An additional "support us more" monthly subscription option? Check! Seriously, Hero Siege is the kind of game even gacha games look at and mutter "that's crossing the line"... and at least those are free to play. ---------- Edit to respond to the developers response: Your response is almost a masterclass in bad faith, cherry-picking, and deflection. Did I talk about popups? No. Yet you paint it that way. I talked about always-present buttons in the UI that lead to a purchase. Pretending they are there for convenience is insulting. They are there to prime users and keep them exposed to ever-present monetization. You say your stash tabs are optional, but in PoE they are required to trade? Trading is optional too. And even if you consider them mandatory, PoE gives you a free 50+ hour game with a reasonable one-time buy-in for enough tabs to play comfortably, which is a far better deal than Hero Siege even on sale. But more importantly, "someone else does it too" is not a defence. It is just whataboutism, and reaching for it only highlights that you have no real answer to the criticism. Referring to a post about monetization made 6 months ago (November 2025) is neither an excuse nor an invalidation of what I wrote. Do you seriously expect everyone to keep up to date with everything you do all the time? And finally: I did not compare you to gacha games, that was a comedic device to underline how aggressive your monetization is. Framing it as a direct comparison just to call me a liar shows you are only interested in deflecting criticism. Trying to back that up by mentioning your sales is just another nail in the coffin of your dishonest attempt to downplay my review. You could have responded with "we know it has been bad in the past, but we are trying to do better, so maybe give us another chance in a few months" and I would have seriously considered updating my review. This response? A pathetic attempt at damage control that only proves my initial assessment was spot on.
To anyone deciding to buy this and play, hero siege completely locks down your single player files, does not allow you to use any editors to uncorrupt random rolls nor does it allow you to spawn items in offline single player to fix this. Comes with very intrusive Easy Anticheat. The game is riddled with microtransactions and tries to get you to BUY stashspace and shared stash in your singleplayer offline games. Also has battlepasses, keys and other nonsense. If you value your time, seek another game, this one is not worth your money. Blacklist the develloper, spread the word to anyone that asks or shows interest in this game and use your time wiser than I have.
死妈优化,卡输入法也就算了,弹个小窗是什么鸡巴意思,而且死亡掉经验是哪个死妈仔想出来的东西,你妈死的时候你寿命也减少10%
I’ve tried coming back to Hero Siege multiple times, and every time my characters are gone. On top of that, the Anti-Cheat (EAC) causes constant stuttering and lag, which completely ruins the experience. I only play offline, so it’s frustrating being forced to deal with anti-cheat that breaks performance. What’s even more disappointing is how much the game has changed. It used to have its own identity and fun mechanics, but now it is a bad and poorly optimized copy of Diablo. The performance issues only make that comparison worse.
Game is riddled with micro-transactions.
I meant to review this around HS.2.0 but forgot so here it is. Some years ago I would have recommended this game, but they decided to completely flip the game and remake it into a worse version of a diablo style clone in the 2.0 release. It's a shame... It seems I'm not alone in thinking they just look for money now. Even in the past there were tons of micro transactions and it seems to get worse over time.
I really wish this game wasn't so incredibly predatory, but it's a prime example of what much of modern gaming has become.
I miss the old 2014 Hero Siege. It was so much fun.
