About

Enter the explosive conflict of the Vietnam War and fight your way through some of the fiercest clashes in modern history. Join the battle raging across an extreme landscape of vast mountain gorges and thick jungle, where the North Vietnamese Armies clash with the military strength of the US Armed Forces. Build tunnels, fly helicopters, drive patrol boats, use historically accurate weapons and work with your team to achieve victory.

Take the battle to the enemy across 6 large-scale maps inspired by real world locations. Play as either the North Vietnamese Army or US Armed Forces and choose from one of 17 specialised roles within a 50-strong team made up of multiple squads. Join or lead infantry, recon, armour, mortar squads and helicopter units, using communication and teamwork with your fellow players to identify objectives and ruthlessly exploit your opponent’s weaknesses. Emergent gameplay features bring intensity and realism to the conflict, as players tackle each battle with authentic weapons, orders and tactics. Follow the chain of command and work together as a team to meet your objectives and achieve victory.

In the heat and fury of the Vietnam War, the battle is more dynamic than ever. New US aerial units feature fully operational helicopters for fire support and supply drops. NVA forces can build extensive tunnel networks to gain the upper hand with surprise attacks. Both sides can hunt the enemy through Vietnam’s complex river network with heavily armed patrol boats built and launched to seek and destroy. Enhanced player movement, including swimming, climbing and fast crawling, and interactions such as dragging co-combatants away from active fire to give them a chance to heal and re-engage, all adds to the immersive battle experience.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam features multiple distinct gameplay modes pitting players against each other in epic 50 vs 50 multiplayer battles. Warfare mode is a 50 vs 50 tug-of-war style confrontation where two teams fight for control over 5 sectors. Offensive breaks down the opposing forces into an attacking side and a defending side. Alternating new game modes mix up the gameplay parameters to maximise the battlefield experience. This is as immersive as warfare gets!

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Not a bad game. Just no where near as good as the first one. Less bio diversity, less weapons choices just less content in general. If you want a good realistic shooter just get the first game
This game is still on BETA but released full price and even got ENSHITIFIED compared from what we got on the og HeLL. VOIP is the very basic of HeLL but its not working on this new iteration (plus dozens other bugs and enshitifications -that is, base working stuff that lazy devs no even took the work to simply copy-paste from original HeLL [ie: no "set garrison" mark for Squad Leaders!]). I will change my review to positive when they produce the game i'd paid for.-
I am a fan of the first game and also a student of history. I was so excited when I saw that the team was breaking into a new conflict and a new style of warfare. The Vietnam War was one of the most asymmetric conflicts of its time, with the United States military fighting an insurgent force that used its speed and maneuverability to outflank and outmaneuver the most well-equipped forces of the US Marines. This game, even in the first few hours, shows that — the tunnel system is fun and easy to learn, and the new era brings a fresh set of 6 maps. I've played 2 of them in each playtest so far, and it really is a different feeling sitting in a bush on the side of the road, waiting for an enemy to move in the wrong direction just so I can land a shot that sends off the infamous PING of a headshot. Now, with the good out of the way, let me touch on the work that needs to be done. It's very obvious that the initial release needs work — there are apparent bugs with the VOIP (almost every match, at least one of my teammates sounds like he's talking through a rainy gutter), the UI can sometimes incorrectly display locations, and the skybox goes black while I'm moving across the map. The game also needs more content: more weapons, more equipment, more vehicles, and more outfits. But with all that said, as a student of history with many hours put into the original Hell Let Loose, I know the devs will put endless hours into post-release patches and hotfixes. I know expansions and DLC will come — it just takes time. Which is why I can say I'd happily recommend this to anyone who enjoyed the first and has the patience for the final product.
trés bon jeu pour ma part. quelques bug mais ca sera corrige avec les mises a jour...
If you want to spend $40 to sit in a bush then this is your game! Thats the most action this game has seen since its dropped. Im so serious when I say there is 0 player progression. Theres nothing to do in this game other than some sort of vehicle or sitting in a bush. Thats it, so you can make the choice because ive already refunded this game. It will be like 2-3 years then this game will be 50% complete then i might buy it on a huge sale or something, then you know what this game might be good.
nah
Game runs well, didnt get any audio bugs yet as everyone is complaining. As far as the communication goes play on community servers and it is way more lovley.
This game was released at least a year too early. The graphics look like a watercolor painting; it feels like we’re constantly being blinded by the sunset. You can’t see a thing in the distance. It’s a massive downgrade compared to the previous HLL. It’s the garbage that is Unreal Engine 5; they could have learned a thing or two from the *Arc Raiders* devs. As for the sound—well, what a mess. For a tactical/realistic shooter, they really need to overhaul the audio as soon as possible. The gunfire sounds like something from an arcade shooter from a decade ago; it sounds like it was thrown together in three days. In games like this realistic, you want the sound to be... realistic... Once again, the old HLL is light-years ahead of this one. I will change my review when they fix the game.
