About

Enter the explosive conflict of the Vietnam War and fight your way through some of the fiercest clashes in modern history. Join the battle raging across an extreme landscape of vast mountain gorges and thick jungle, where the North Vietnamese Armies clash with the military strength of the US Armed Forces. Build tunnels, fly helicopters, drive patrol boats, use historically accurate weapons and work with your team to achieve victory.

Take the battle to the enemy across 6 large-scale maps inspired by real world locations. Play as either the North Vietnamese Army or US Armed Forces and choose from one of 17 specialised roles within a 50-strong team made up of multiple squads. Join or lead infantry, recon, armour, mortar squads and helicopter units, using communication and teamwork with your fellow players to identify objectives and ruthlessly exploit your opponent’s weaknesses. Emergent gameplay features bring intensity and realism to the conflict, as players tackle each battle with authentic weapons, orders and tactics. Follow the chain of command and work together as a team to meet your objectives and achieve victory.

In the heat and fury of the Vietnam War, the battle is more dynamic than ever. New US aerial units feature fully operational helicopters for fire support and supply drops. NVA forces can build extensive tunnel networks to gain the upper hand with surprise attacks. Both sides can hunt the enemy through Vietnam’s complex river network with heavily armed patrol boats built and launched to seek and destroy. Enhanced player movement, including swimming, climbing and fast crawling, and interactions such as dragging co-combatants away from active fire to give them a chance to heal and re-engage, all adds to the immersive battle experience.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam features multiple distinct gameplay modes pitting players against each other in epic 50 vs 50 multiplayer battles. Warfare mode is a 50 vs 50 tug-of-war style confrontation where two teams fight for control over 5 sectors. Offensive breaks down the opposing forces into an attacking side and a defending side. Alternating new game modes mix up the gameplay parameters to maximise the battlefield experience. This is as immersive as warfare gets!

F YA!
I have hundreds of hours in the original Hell Let Loose. At this point, I have seen enough combat to qualify for several fictional medals, a pension, and probably a restraining order from the German artillery. So naturally, I launched Hell Let Loose Vietnam expecting to play the game. Instead: “WELCOME SOLDIER. BEFORE YOU MAY HAVE FUN, PLEASE COMPLETE THE TUTORIAL.” Excuse me? I have played the original Hell Let Loose for an unhealthy number of hours. I know how to shoot. I know how to revive people. I know how to build things. I know how to run 400 metres across an open field just to immediately get shot by some bastard named David hiding behind a leaf. But apparently Vietnam has decided: “No. Prove yourself.” So now I have to sit through tutorials to unlock things. The Davids and Wilsons of the world might happily complete their mandatory educational journey, learning the ancient secrets of “Press W to Walk Forward,” but I am not that man. I refuse. I did not buy a Vietnam war game to go back to Tutorial University. I already graduated. I have a degree in Hell Let Loose, a minor in getting shot by people I can't see, and a PhD in yelling “WHERE THE ♥♥♥♥ IS MY SQUAD?” The funniest part is that the game apparently trusts me enough to throw me into a battlefield where bullets are flying everywhere, but not enough to let me unlock something without first watching a tutorial explaining what a rifle is. “Here is your weapon, soldier.” Thank you, Captain Obvious. I have been using one for hundreds of hours. I genuinely want to enjoy this game, but the progression system has managed to make me more frustrated before I've even properly started playing. Please, developers. Look at my hours in the original Hell Let Loose and let me skip Tutorial Kindergarten. I promise I know which end of the gun goes toward the enemy. Usually.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Don't base what your experience would be on every ones reviews its a teamwork based like heavily team based. If you play it like its Call Of Duty you will get demolished. Run and gun solo you wont make it far. Play it like battlefield well you might get a couple kills but still wont make it far. Granted it recommends using your coms heavily most of the player base is friendly but some of the younger is just rude and think everything they say is funny. Take everything with a grain of salt I've experienced a lot of great matches. Tutorials are in the game for a reason I recommend you going through them more then just teaching you movements and how to shoot actuallly shows you how the roles need to be played. Demonstrates things you would never realize and you will get called out for not doing something right in match. Pros: Great visuals Sqaud based game unique abilities awesome maps long matches depending on how well your team works together. Cons: Some toxic player base but mainly the younger ones but sometimes you get the old man that takes the game way to serious. ANNOYING MIC SPAMMERS THAT SAY THINGS THAT DOESNT EVEN MATTER. My game has never crashed froze or dropped frames I'am a amd gpu player and my frames never drop below 100fps on highest settings. So use your judgement get the game lock in remember mic on stay friendly remember call outs use your map and advance to points or defend play the game as you wish. But youll never get far as a one man army.
This game was released at least a year too early. The graphics look like a watercolor painting; it feels like we’re constantly being blinded by the sunset. You can’t see a thing in the distance. It’s a massive downgrade compared to the previous HLL. It’s the garbage that is Unreal Engine 5; they could have learned a thing or two from the *Arc Raiders* devs. As for the sound—well, what a mess. For a tactical/realistic shooter, they really need to overhaul the audio as soon as possible. The gunfire sounds like something from an arcade shooter from a decade ago; it sounds like it was thrown together in three days. In games like this realistic, you want the sound to be... realistic... Once again, the old HLL is light-years ahead of this one. I will change my review when they fix the game.
This game is freaking amazing. Play it
