Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Hazen: The Dark Whispers, developed by Dagger Games and published by Strategy First, is a fantasy hack-and-slash action RPG that arrived on Steam in 2010 with the ambition of launching an episodic saga. Marketed as the first chapter of a larger series, the game set out to deliver fast-paced combat, character customization, and loot-driven progression within a dark medieval world. However, despite its aspirations, it ultimately remains a standalone release, as subsequent episodes were never produced, leaving The Dark Whispers as a self-contained and somewhat incomplete experience. At its core, Hazen adheres to traditional action RPG conventions. Players guide their character through compact maps filled with undead creatures, demons, and hostile beasts, engaging in real-time combat while collecting weapons, armor, and consumables. The control scheme relies heavily on point-and-click movement and attacks, reminiscent of early 2000s dungeon crawlers. Leveling up allows players to allocate stat points to strengthen combat abilities, and equipment upgrades serve as the primary means of enhancing survivability and damage output. On paper, these systems echo genre staples such as Diablo-style progression loops. Combat is straightforward and accessible but rarely evolves beyond its initial framework. Players can choose between melee, ranged, or magic-focused approaches, and skill scrolls unlock special attacks intended to diversify encounters. However, these abilities often feel underdeveloped, with limited synergy or tactical depth. Battles frequently devolve into repetitive engagements where positioning and resource management play a secondary role to persistent clicking. Enemy variety is modest, and while boss encounters attempt to introduce challenge, they seldom provide meaningful mechanical differentiation from standard combat sequences. Narratively, Hazen introduces a dark fantasy setting involving a mysterious curse and the spread of undead corruption. The storyline unfolds through brief dialogue exchanges and quest prompts, but world-building remains minimal. Characters lack substantial development, and plot progression feels linear without branching choices or significant twists. The episodic structure hinted at a broader saga, yet the conclusion feels abrupt, as though the story halts mid-arc rather than delivering a satisfying resolution. Visually, the game reflects its era with 3D models and environments that appear dated by contemporary standards. Character animations are functional but stiff, and environmental textures often lack detail. Dungeons and overworld areas repeat architectural motifs, reducing the sense of exploration. Lighting effects and particle animations provide some atmospheric touches, but technical limitations and occasional graphical glitches detract from immersion. While the aesthetic may evoke nostalgia for early ARPG titles, it lacks the polish expected even at the time of release. Sound design is serviceable but unremarkable. Combat effects and ambient audio cues convey basic feedback without adding significant depth to the experience. Music tracks aim for dark fantasy tones but loop frequently, occasionally diminishing their impact during extended play sessions. The audio presentation complements gameplay adequately but does little to elevate it. One of Hazen’s more notable shortcomings lies in technical stability. Reports of inconsistent save functionality, minor bugs, and occasional crashes have contributed to frustration among players. Navigation can feel imprecise, particularly when maneuvering through tight dungeon corridors or targeting enemies in crowded encounters. These issues, while not universally game-breaking, reinforce the impression of a project that did not receive extensive post-launch refinement. Despite these challenges, there are moments where Hazen’s foundational systems offer brief enjoyment. The steady acquisition of loot and incremental character growth can satisfy players seeking a straightforward dungeon-crawling experience. Its simplicity makes it approachable for those unfamiliar with more complex ARPG systems. However, when compared to genre contemporaries known for deeper combat mechanics and expansive worlds, Hazen struggles to stand out. Ultimately, Hazen: The Dark Whispers represents an ambitious concept that never fully realized its potential. Its traditional hack-and-slash framework, combined with a dark fantasy setting, suggests the outline of a compelling ARPG series. Yet uneven execution, limited narrative development, dated visuals, and technical roughness prevent it from achieving lasting impact. For players interested in exploring early indie attempts at episodic action RPG design, it serves as a historical curiosity. For those seeking refined, content-rich dungeon crawlers, it may feel more like a prototype than a fully matured entry in the genre. Rating: 3/10

Like the music, the feeling of old RPG, it relaxas me, no need to rush anything. Cheers
What the heck is this garbage? No UI size adjustment option... cursor the size of a gnat. No mouse scroll speed option... gnat moves like a snail... takes lifting my mouse up 4 to 5 times to get it to scroll from 1 side of the screen to the other. And in a game where precision is crucial... No camera controls: AT ALL No key layout control One button to move, one to attack... with no option to change. And the big one: You have to keep R-clicking over, and over, and over, and over again to move. -_- I *tried* to give it a shot... I really did. UI is just too terrible... not even barely functional with scroll speed so low.
Não roda no Windoms Seven
Very crude arpg. Weak graphics, unstable - has crash issues; plot, characters & dialog don't really exist. Even if you get it on the cheap it is probably not worth spending your time on it. Not the worst game I have played but there are plenty of better choices out these days.
You know, if it was the last ARPG on Earth, I'd probably play it. The art style is not bad for the time it was made and the mechanics work... to some extent. Fun loot drops and you can feel yourself getting stronger and taking less damage as you get increasingly better armor. In spite of all the complaints here, Hazen surprisingly ran fine on my Win7 x64 system with only one crash when entering a dungeon. When reloaded, the game left me back where I was. Now for the bad parts: 1. No saving allowed in a dungeon. If the game crashes you may lose up to a half hour of progress. 2. There is some kind of memory leak that slows down the game the longer you play. Your melee swings and casts get slower and slower while the enemies rush you at the same speed. 3. It takes a while to get used to the backwards controls. You move with rt. click and everything else is left click. No key rebinds. Worst of all are the ungodly respawns that slow you down as you travel to your destination then back to your village. No teleports or shortcuts, just the long, slow trek back while fighting the same enemies you fought on the way there. The first two hours had me traveling the same path numerous times while fighting the same respawns. It can be maddening. Compared to a far superior ARPG like Torchlight that came out a year earlier, Hazen: The Dark Whispers just can't compete.
Another Action RPG? Why not. yet here are some nitpicks: Mouse pointer movement speed adjustment : false Enemy archers with homing arrows : true General game speed adjustment: false (well, many games portray slow-motion movies, so it is not specific for this game) Playability (in-game movement, interactions, attacking enemies) : below average I do recommend this game, but I also warn you, dear reader, do not set your expectations high, will ya?
