The original cooking horror returns in an unhinged co-op experience for 1-4 players. Grill burgers, serve customers, and hit your quota before the kitchen turns into a nightmare. When Asset Joy begins her hunt, try to escape alive and extract your hard-earned cash to survive another shift.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You and your crew are hired to participate in an experiment run by the Paragon Corporation. It sounds like a standard fast-food gig: grill burgers, fry sides, pour drinks, work the register, hit your quota, and keep the customers happy.
Every shift is a ticking clock – the kitchen always wins eventually. Once the simulation collapses, Asset Joy breaks containment and begins her hunt. The iconic mascot is back for blood – and you have only one chance to escape!
The game reacts to what you say on the mic. Speak the wrong word, and Asset Joy will hear you. Speak the right incantation, and the kitchen warps. Learn how to use incantations to your advantage, and what to never say aloud if you don’t want to anger the beast.
35+ modifiers ensure each run goes off the rails in a unique way. Rush Hour brings additional customers for a more profitable yet more chaotic shift. Profanity Policy punishes the team every time someone swears on the mic. Midmaxxing messes up the appliances' cooking temperatures.
Escape alive, and your earnings come with you. Spend them on boosters, sacrifice them to the ascension ritual to move the story forward, or gamble them on harder contracts for bigger payouts.
Happy's Humble Burger Cult (formerly Burgatory) is the next chapter in the Scythe Studios Universe, and a direct successor to Happy's Humble Burger Farm – peeling back another layer of the Paragon Corporation's reality-warping simulation program. Ready to go down the rabbit hole again?

100% pick up this game! It's a Roguelike Restaurant sim with Horror Elements and a variety of challenging but fun levels and Game mechanics. I've only done one shift so far because I gotta go work my real Job, but the shenanigans that you and your friends can get into is worth the price of admission. I'm itching to get more Burger Cult! Praise the Holy Grill and join our sermon of Sizzle.
Good price, fun gameplay, you can’t really tell it’s their first multiplayer game and it expands on the lore and story of the Scythe Saga Universe. It also has an amazing soundtrack! 9.7/10, you should get it!
Came home from my 9 to 5 minimum wage job to play a game about working a 9 to 5 minimum wage job. Corporations officially won.
It was only a matter of time that Scythe Dev Team would adapt their best hit for co-op. In fact it was quite natural if you take into consideration the direction so many other indie games took. Small, affordable, demanding but satisfying gameplay loop, focus on replayability and meta progression. A good way to kill a couple dozen hours with friends, because yes, playing this game alone isn't recommended, especially if you crank up the modifiers. It's not what I wanted for Happy's Humble Burger franchise, but this is what we got. Anyway, IT'S GRINDING IN FRONT OF THE FRYER TIME. This time around you embark on shifts to meet the quota without disabilazing the simulation. Continuance success increases your earnings and forces you to choose modifiers that stack till the end of the run. Do good and you get to unlock new maps, cosmetics, items and achievements. Do poorly and you get nothing. A classic premise of any modern co-op game out there. Gameplay loop didn't change since Burger Farm, and I'm fine with that because "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". But now you can make your buddies do other stuff like stockpiling patties, prepare drinks, taking care of side orders, certain threats etc. This almost makes working in a burger joint fun!
(It's not, it's actually not, don't do this, they made me type this THEY ARE WATCHING REVIEWS)
One of the biggest difference is the microphone utilization. If you find one of many incantations written on walls, floor and ceiling around the maps you can say it out loud and it will actually do something. It varies from goofy "make everyone drunk" or "steal an item your friend is holding" incantations to something useful like teleportation or stopping time that greatly help in chases or tough situations that require a lot of management. At first I didn't know that was even a feature, I just shrug it off as world building. But upon discovering it everything changed. Runs became more chaotic, engaging and most of all fun. Unlike majority of so called "friend slop" games this one isn't for faintest of hearts. You will lose, and after a couple of attempts it will be clear that you've tasted the ultra processed brick wall, and it tastes good. Exploration and mastery of mechanics is necessary to do good. It's not an "afk turn your brains off" type game. You either drop the game in frustration or suck it up and improve. Big tip, do the latter, it's worth it. This isn't the best or most innovative or genre defining game, but it's competently made and it's a good change from your average "business running sims" type games. It definitely requires some additional improvements, like any new released game these days. But I can't say it's bad or mid. It's pretty good.
I really want to like this game and it has some really good potential, but it completely falls flat with the single-player experience for me. The game's main draw in is the multiplayer, but if you're going to offer a solo experience you shouldn't overwhelm a single person with all of the tasks you expect a full team to do. I have yet to beat a single shift because each time I clock out, I get 4 urgent tasks thrown at me all at once that just leave me scrambling. The two most annoying tasks have to be the thermostats and the restocking. Both just end up being tedious cause I either can't find every thermostat or the enemy sees me constantly as I'm restocking mostly before I even see them. One of my other major issues with the game is that items like the fish nuggets while being in the same place as the fries don't have a more obvious logo to differentiate them from the bag of potatoes. The game alone is chaotic enough so if the player's already being pressured by food orders, the stability timer and enemies, some ingredients should just stand out more. I really want to experience more of what this game has to offer, but I don't want to touch it again unless some of these issues are addressed or I play with friends.
it took toe 5 years to finally be able to help us out instead of decaying near a boiling stove for 6 minutes straight (really good game just needs some performance fixes and solo balancing fixes)
As a fan of the original this game feels like a swing and a miss, the game plays a lot like overcooked with friends getting in the way which would've been a good thing if the game was even remotely close to complete and it isn't. Which is a shame because I see effort but right now its just a reskined version of overcooked in the horror genre.
AS A HUGE FAN OF HAPPY HUMBLE BURGER FAR, THIS IS THE BEST COOKING COOP GAME EVER. GOOD JOB DEVS!
This is EXACTLY what I wanted! A happys humble burger farm friendslop (Good way) This is awesome. yup... that's about it... its pretty fun, you should try it
I will say the game does have a atmosphere of horror, but depending on the company it is one of the funniest game you can find. We had so much fun playing with twits and turns popping up every now and then. And the difficulty with the other maps really make it refreshing . PS. the spitting was a plus
