Incredibly addictive gameplay look, a perfect fit for the Steam Deck. I remember when this game dropped back in the day, was pretty upset that it wasn't coming to Wii U (my last major console), the gameplay seemed like a perfect fit for the handheld/console hybrid back in the day. Now, having just recently purchased a Steam Deck (first upgrade since the Wii U), I can say that the gameplay is a perfect fit for the handheld. Highly recommend picking this one up. The game reminds me of Crimson Shroud for the 3DS, and that's a great thing. The blend of dungeon crawling and table top is both incredibly unique and it feels like a natural fit (RPGs were originally built around tabletop gaming anyway). Easy to pick up, hard to put down. While many card based games struggle with explaining the mechanics and gameplay to the player, this one throws you right in, and it just clicked.

I was expecting something more interesting either in terms of complexity with roguelike theme/building your own deck and utilizing resources or fights being more interesting. It's really dull, lacks depth and doesn't appeal to me at all. Animations are decent, card art is stylized and idea is cool but execution didn't capture my interest enough to force myself to finish this game or think about buying second one.

J'avais essayé en 2015 une heure, je réessaye en 2022. Pffffff le mode de combat ne me convient pas. Les ennemis, en général très supérieur en nombre, n'ont pas ce problème de gestion du déplacement, des frappes et des atouts spéciaux. De plus je n'ai pas envie de me fatiguer la tête à réfléchir au meilleur deck, donc je prends systématiquement celui conseillé. Et je repars me faire latter la tronche au 2ème combat. Donc NON, c'est mon éval, je n'ai pas envie de continuer ce jeu. moins de 2h de jeu sans plaisir en 7 ans, pas la peine d'en dire plus. ça rappelle la fréquence des rapports sexuels d'un vieux couple aigri.

One of the best roguelike "deckbuilding" adventure games ever made. The narration ties everything together in such a superb way I can't recommend this enough.
A fun little game that takes ~10 hours to beat. Completion takes much longer due to RNG and the game's weaknesses start showing after a while. Would not recommend completion for casual play.
