I can't honestly reccommend Halo Infinite to anyone. It is a fine shooter with amazing movement and its very well optimized. The art and gameplay design were a return to functional military aesthetics that was missing from Halo 4 and 5. Yet for all of the things Halo Infinite got right- it had so many unforgivable mistakes. The art is bright and colorful like you picture a Halo game- but they chose to make the game a 'T' rating and keep all dialogue family friendly and zero presence of the Flood or anything too bloody or horror-esque. It makes the setting feel much less like an actual confict and it really makes it hard to view the enemies as dangerous. The campaign has an amazing opening and a solid premise which capitalizes on established lore from the RTS Halo Wars franchise and many entries of the novels. Yet it adopts an open world 'Far Cry' style campaign which makes the experience very repetitive and means that the entire game severely lacks enviroment diversity or any setting beyond that of Inst. 07 - Zeta Halo. Its like replaying the opening missions of Halo CE then entire game. The villain also dissappoints and without enough faith in Atriox as a prime villain- a new forerunner related space wizard cyborg thing is the big stakes of the story. It felt lazy and familiar and really underhwlmed people who were hoping Atriox might become a sort of re-curring equal of Chief. The game lacked Co-Op for far too long and the dependence on community made content for multiplayer is also dissappointing. The season pass content is thanfully never vaulted and yours to progress in whichever order you like- but at a painful by design pace. It is gruelling to grind through the passes to say the least. Ive barely made it half way through 2 of them and most of my time playing this game hasd been on Xbox with the same account (total of some 400 hours I would imagine.) The customization is detailed and easily has the most variety in any Halo game- but there is no Sangheili (Elite) customization and the vast majority of the options are locked beyond microtransactions. Its gorgeous, its smooth, it satisfying and yet its so many steps forward and so many steps back from what a high budget- contemporary Halo game could be.

Halo: Infinite has finally solidified itself as one of the top tier premium halo games NOW (5 years after release but still). There is literally THOUSANDS of full custom forge campaigns maps, maps that require 15+ players just to beat the insane boss fight at the very end. There is minigames you cant imagine in other Halos like firefight zombies and firefight gauntlet mode, ontop of all that you still got the custom game browser with Parkour, Warthog Races, Pokemon battles (yes realy) and anything else you can think of is in this game now. Halo: Infinite is FINALLY able to be called an "AAA Game" and im sure 343 will continue to make it even more amazing!
Good luck signing in to the microsoft account that you have running on your microsoft pc but somehow this game can't seem to connect with, include a captcha that can't be passed in some weird secondary browser this game loads, on top of waiting 20min for the game to load (literally got to watch an entire tv show on my phone.) Game def used to be fun, but if you can't load it in a reasonable time or get passed the sign-in well... Maybe others have better luck but this is it for me.
Gameplay is fine. The grappling hook is fun, but it takes away what makes halo so fun in the first place. Boss fight are annoying waste of time. Overall balance change is good. The worst part of the game is probably the story. The story is just plain nothing. I feel nothing and I got nothing. The graphics looks a bit muddy when in the open world as well. 6/10 game
Play Just Cause instead, better story and gameplay. Doesn't feel like Halo.
An incomplete mess. So much for "live-service". It's really unfortunate they left the game in its current state...
E, sinceramente? O jogo me surpreendeu bastante. História Sem spoilers: no começo eu fiquei bem confuso.
wont let me log in tried even starting the game through microsoft account and still says I need to log in to account just horrid bs nonsense pretty much what I would expact from them
not as good as it should be.. overall disappointing
