Halo campaign evolved - 4/10 Pros: The game looks visually stunning Some of the harder/annoying parts of CE were changed Systems from later installments were added (seat swapping, sprinting, additional weapons, etc) You have to find the skulls again and they are not just given to you Cons: The missions have been condensed so instead of feeling massive, every level just feels cramped Always online so you can't play it on the go without an active internet connection The AI for the elites may be annoying, but the hunters (and in turn the constant hunter spam) almost made rage quit. Not only are they tanky as hell, but the changes to their AI means you have to get MUCH closer than normal in order to bait a melee It is almost impossible to stagger jackals with the pistol as the shots will try to magnetize themselves to the head and not the hand you are aiming at I know this comes with the territory with legendary, but getting hit with an over charged plasma pistol at half shield should not kill, and two needles from a needler shouldn't drop you to just under half shield. TLDR: Just get the master chief collection

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

awesome game
Overpriced and not enough content for such game nowadays, but i still really enjoyed it :)
I don't know what people are complaining about. I enjoyed this game a lot.
As an OG fanatic/player of Halo: Combat Evolved, I give Campaign Evolved a seal of approval, with a few caveats that will hopefully be ironed out in future patches. Halo: CE was one of my first ever console games and I became a ravenous fan from the beginning as a young teenager. So naturally my hopes for this remake were high but expectations, based on the recent performance of the studio from which it comes, were low. Luckily, this turned out to be quite the fun ride.
Positives
This game is gorgeous; simply beautiful. Much has been made of the fact that this runs on Unreal Engine 5. While I am among the nay-sayers of this change, I cannot deny the immense visual uplift of this game contrasted with Halo: Infinite. The vibrant purple hues of the Truth and Reconciliation contrast stunningly with the awesome-looking particle effects. The weather effects are also incredibly immersive. The lighting of this game is also top notch. The Pillar of Autumn is suitably menacing in the beginning, and the later beach levels are beautiful to look at as you’re slaughtering the covenant hordes. The gothic lighting and colors of 343 Guilty Spark make that mission the scariest it has ever been. The Maw and specifically the final Warthog Run look simply phenomenal. Level design is improved in many areas, imho. There really is only one mission that is overhauled, and the rest see some minor but good changes. The Library is actually fun now, less of a slog and with more forward narrative motion. Picking up collectibles is also fun. The creature design and voice acting is still great. Hearing Jen Taylor return as Cortana to re-voice her original lines is like a balm I never knew I needed. She is phenomenal, even if I disagree with some of the re-contextualization of some of her dialogue. The gunplay is fantastic and suitably crunchy. The Pistol and Shotgun are once again my favorites and I love the inclusion of other weapons like the Needle Rifle and Fuel Rod, adding additional layers of strategy to the already great gunplay. Also, the Hunters in this game are great fun, wildly aggressive and actually a threat (one shot to the back won’t hurt them as easily this time around).
Negatives
Unfortunately, Unreal Engine has plenty of problems that the team at Halo Studios have not been able to resolve. On my first playthrough my game crashed at least 5-8 times, maybe more. Stuttering, hangups, and frame drops were all-too-common as well. I don’t have the most powerful PC in the world, but it is certainly enough to not have these problems. Enemy AI was quite dumb at times. The Flood forms are, at times, super docile, which is quite disappointing since they are supposed to be fearsome but are instead slow walking zombies that occasionally lunge at you this time around. Super-odd utilization of the Flood. The music still hits when it needs to, but some of the new compositions don’t, to say the least. It sounds incredibly cheap, which might have been the point, but it actively detracts from the experience at times. The game is unnecessarily taxing on even modern systems (another problem with UE5 I think), and even on a relatively beefy rig your frames might drop in certain intense indoor (and outdoor) battle sequences where the enemies are numerous and particle effects overwhelm your GPU. Speaking of visuals, it is unforgivable that film grain and those weird blurry-looking post-processing effects are unable to be turned off in game. The cutscenes, while nice looking, are distracting with their sudden switches to 30fps and visuals that clearly aren’t in-engine. Like the Halo 2 Anniversary Edition, the cutscenes are beautifully rendered, but need to be less jarring going from gameplay straight into them and back.
Conclusion
Yes, the game has problems. No there isn’t any online multiplayer (Halo: CE also didn’t have any online multiplayer upon release so I guess as a remake, that decision makes some sense). Yes, in many areas it feels incomplete and could have/should have been better. But I still found myself having a blast going through the story, laying waste to hordes of Covenant and Flood with creative weapon combos, seeing the expansive and immersive vistas re-vitalized with gorgeous new visuals, and reliving one of the few great parts of my younger years with something that despite all of its problems still exudes passion and fun. At various points it should be clear to any classic OG Halo CE fan that this was clearly a labor of love. The game that released might have been rushed, but it is still a great throwback that comes recommended from me, and might come even more highly recommended if Halo Studios continues to patch the game and fix some of the more annoying bugs and issues.
i have played every halo, and i will say, i really do enjoy campaign evolved
ni con un hambre insaciable de nostalgia soy capaz de tragarme semejante mierdota mal en todos los aspectos. que bueno que existen los reembolsos wacho
its 2026 and i cant reconnect to my freinds in campaign the only thing the game has no actual mutltiplayer that would make the game bar\earaable but also the constant dropping in and out of the lobby either me or a freind loses connection and then we all have to restart the game. 343 YALL MAKE ME WANNNA SQUEEZE MA BALLS!!
