Become the champion of the Arena by besting your opponents in various brawls and tournaments. Prepare for an unparalleled combat experience where your every move matters. All animations and maneuvers are meticulously designed with a strong foundation in realism.
Your control over weapons is genuine, as we have crafted a combat system based on the expertise and feedback of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) practitioners and sword fencers. Through this dynamic system, players can immerse themselves in the intricacies of swordplay and learn the art of the game's combat mechanics.
Survive bloody battles to gain renown and claim wealth to buy new equipment or forge your own armor and weapons tailored to your combat style. Feeling confident? Bet on your success to potentially boost your earnings and further your progress.

Every story needs an end, and in Half Sword, it often means losing your head - quite literally. As this is a simulation game, death is final…
Be Warned: Half Sword is an extremely violent and gory game. I mean… we do have a Chief Blood Officer. Witness skull-crushing blows, limb decapitations, and gruesome displays of entrails and bloodshed, all intricately tied to the weapon and armor choices of both you and your opponents.

Combat feels like you actually need to concentrate, you have to focus on blocks and parrys, amazing game 10/10
if your looking for a realistic and super fun fighting experience from medivial times where you can use weapons like massive swords, axes, maces, and even crossbows but you don't want to go buy a vr headset and get a game like blades and sorcery then heres your game, realistic blood fun combat and actually hard enemy's which require actual skill to beat unless your just a natural, this game also takes a lot of time i spent maybe a whole year to beat the game from being a new player tho i was here since the demo was frst released and this game has changed a lot from that old demo, and I'm still playing up to today theres so much stuff to keep you entertained and some weapons you can only unlock by finding them

fun! I have over 200 hrs on the demo, this is better than the demo. If possible please add some kind of online multiplayer with voice chat, That would make it endless competitive fun.

bel gioco. Storicamente accurato ,realistico e con delle meccaniche innovative e belle. L' unico problema del gioco è che è molto pesante e sul mio computer non regge.
Alright I got irritated seeing so many rude reviews so imma throw in my two cents. Performance: If you're not super uber ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ obsessed with running ultra-mega-super-ultimate graphics settings and fighting twenty eight fully armored Willies, then it runs fine based on my experience. Gameplay: A merchant, armorer, weaponsmith, six and a half maps, a few game modes like first blood, submission, and knockdown, a pretty good game loop, the abyss (I hate the abyss but it's just difficult). Player Character: While being limp and annoying to use (while swinging around like Tarzan), with a bit of practice and a lot of halfswording you can go up against almost anybody. Bugs: Weapons might clip right through armor, falling could break all your bones, a nick will kill you, SPONTANEOUS DEATH, etc. But keep in mind it's a janky physics engine in an early access W.I.P game. Also, the demo does lack some of the bad bugs, but keep in mind you'll crash. A lot. Like every three seconds a lot. I can agree that maybe you should wait until it's more fleshed out and fixed to buy it if you're expecting a full superb, glitchless game, and that right now it's not worth the price, but it's getting worked on, just be patient. TL;DR: some glitches and bugs, but performance is fine for reasonable people and gameplay is what it says it is, it's getting worked on and fixed so be patient.
Прошу, разработчики, оптимизируйте игру ещё лучше, я понимаю, мой ПК, не сказал бы, что хороший, максимум на самых низких настройках 20-40 фпс, а иногда 70, а так игра очень крутая, прошел Барона
game crashes CONSTANTLY. please fix. its actually very fun but when on round 7 of a tournament with one guy left then you crash.... sucks the fun out of the game. fix the crashing and the review wil change
Fun game needs multiplayer tho.
UI is terrible, there are many aspects of the game that are unexplained (such as armor crafting, armor attachment, etc), armor when worn by enemies (even with damage slider maxed out) makes them almost invincible unless you get a sharp object in between armor pieces, but I can get my neck slit with a SHIELD from an enemy. Gameplay overall is extremely inconsistent. Also it would be nice if the mercenaries that you spend hundreds of dollars on can either A) equip extra things or weapons that you have, and B) NOT JUST SURRENDER WHEN THEY GET SNEEZED ON. Oh and also the game runs like sh*t. I can at least commend the devs for letting you resume right where you left off after you crash 19 times
