Every story needs an end, and in Half Sword, it often means losing your head - quite literally. As this is a simulation game, death is final…
Be Warned: Half Sword is an extremely violent and gory game. I mean… we do have a Chief Blood Officer. Witness skull-crushing blows, limb decapitations, and gruesome displays of entrails and bloodshed, all intricately tied to the weapon and armor choices of both you and your opponents.

To be honestly fair, the demo was better. The ragdolls and physics feel way more punishing and harder, with it being almost impossible to swing or hit an enemy without headbutting yourself and losing. I do like the new additions to the game, with all the weapons and maps, but it's just really hard to enjoy the game even with minimal damage enabled in the settings. The game has a lot of potential, and I love the demo, but the real game needs some serious improvements.
Kicks so much ass. I got home from school at 3 and played till 10
BOOOIIII
would reccomend buying but not at full price, overall very mixed i like the micromanagement of the progression mode when it comes to trying to manage your gold and how it ties in with the rest of your gameplay such as healing and gear but the free mode is god awful compared to the demo version, the progression mode honestly feels more like a free mode than the free mode and is honestly just a huge dissapointment for me, i mean you cant even customise your armour and the way you get into fights in free mode is just a boring menu full of sliders instead of the clean ui of the demo the bosses in this version honestly feel less interesting than the demo version with the only exception being the baron but honestly the baron feels kind of underbaked because he hasnt gotten any real changes other than ig a slight armour change and his beak being a little different so it sort of just feels like a demo placeholder boss got copy pasted into a more fleshed out game the progression later into the game feels very sluggish with how many fights you need to get into in order to progress which is made worse when you have to remember youre going to be dealing with more and more durable enemies, honestly i feel like they shouldve made the xp gain on those ranks alot smaller since youre already going to be taking longer to get through fights against armoured opponents esp since it feels like blunt weapons against armour feels like its really weak now while the demo ai was sometimes too cautious, this versions ai feels way too agressive im not complaining that theyre too hard, im honestly happy the ai is better and thus harder, my issue is just that the ai feels so aggressive that they dont have any self preservation which makes it feel less realistic and makes the game feel less skilled in a way since instead of a more careful duel between 2 opponents its instead more like i have no choice but to always blitz the enemy unless i want them to push me into near death, with the knight tiers it makes sense but i doubt any commoner with a sword would just throw themselves into a painful death just to kill me performance settings could honestly use more work, the low setting should honestly be tweaked to be even more drastic so that way people with worse specs have a better chance at playing this game since imo the demo feels like it had better performance options than this version the shop is cool but i feel like im stuck getting the same 10 options or so like im sorry but should a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ eisenhut really be more rare than a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cuirass and greatsword??? overall id say its worth playing if your pc can handle it but i wouldnt say its something you should buy at full price yet, id argue its more worth buying during a sale right now until the game is further polished
its like riding a uni-cycle wearing 250lbs of armor beautifully
