Legitimately the worst Half-Life game I have ever played. I do NOT get how anybody likes this game and considers this to be one of the best HL experiences. I played Half-Life: Blue Shift and it was really fun. You get to see the perspective of Barney throughout the resonance cascade, an important character who's story between Half-Life 1 and Half-Life 2 was relevant. The story of Adrian Shepherd was not relevant to Half-Life's timeline at all. The gameplay doesn't help either, it is absurdly difficult for no apparent reason with the last 40% of the game being "random ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, go!" other than filling the game with as much content as possible. There are a ton of new weapons and enemies that are not explained, used or even mentioned in any other HL game after this one again, and even in this game most of them aren't necessary for the most part. The gameplay near the end is also just very bland and useless. Many rooms filled with hopping assassins, no music, repetitive puzzles, and a very poorly designed and executed boss fight that just feels very anti-climactic. Overall this game just feels like a very bad spinoff of Half-Life 1 made with very little interest or care from the company and I would not recommend it to anyone who truly likes the HL game series. If you want an actually good game that adds to the lore of the story, I'd just recommend you get Blue Shift.

Half life lo mejor
Is good.
Juegazo. Por momentos supera al half life original :o
I would rather wait to see what Tripmine Studios is cooking up then play this game again. The level design seems like it made in a daycare. The HECU AI just sucks and shoot you half of the time. Honestly, Valve did it better.
still holds up to this day! genuinely very fun exploration and im a big fan of the level design and sound effects. it shows another side of the black mesa incident not directly tied to gordon and i think thats intriguing. Of course with it being an old game it may feel unbalanced at times, for example i found myself always being low on health during the late game and also i felt like there was one annoying enemy that appeared one too many times during the later parts. Bugs? i only experienced two, one that had to do with sometimes getting stuck when elevators finished moving and another that crashed the game when you tried to quicksave during a certain attack of a boss, but overall these felt minimal and didnt impact the experience as much. I highly recommend playing it if you love the half life franchise and specially if u really loved hl1 :)
багованое говно
без читов пройти невозможно, босс максимально душный и неинтересный говно короче не стоит своих 200 рублей
This is a great addition to to the original half-life as it adds the "enemies" perspective to the story. Same gameplay as the original Half-life.
