Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 11 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Hacker’s Journey is a story-driven hacking simulator built on a simple promise: every scenario in this game was designed by cybersecurity experts who do this work for real. No Hollywood hacking. The vulnerabilities you exploit are the vulnerabilities researchers find in production systems. The mistakes the targets make are the mistakes companies make all the time.
Follow a complete story from your first compromised box to the final mission. Each mission advances the plot and introduces new techniques.

I’ve been looking for a truly realistic cybersecurity and ethical hacking simulator something that focuses on real-world concepts rather than the usual Hollywood-style “hack everything in five seconds” approach. Based on the description, the game is built around authentic tools, techniques, and scenarios created by cybersecurity professionals. I’m especially interested in seeing how well it recreates reconnaissance, vulnerability exploitation, post-exploitation, and infrastructure analysis, and whether the gameplay feels close to real-world security workflows. I have high expectations for this one. If it delivers on its promise, it could become one of the most interesting games for both cybersecurity enthusiasts and people who want to learn more about the field. I’ll definitely share my thoughts once I finish the game and see how well it lives up to the hype.
best hacking game i have ever played

Realy nice game just missing some extra hints for less tech savy guys.
Fun little game. There isn't that much content and I would appreciate some „more open“ gameplay (like some optional contracts just for fun / or for the challenge), but it's quite nice. And for less than 5, it's a nice little work.
Прошел за 1.5 часа медленного геймплея. Еще час потратил чтобы найти "альтернативные" концовки, которых нет. Игрушка линейная и весьма простая, но на часик-полтора поиграться - норм
to be honest real good game, did not expect it to end so abruptly but ey it is what it is, real nice pick tbh, hopefully there is more content in the future would recommend 100%
Fun so far, but it still needs more touches to feel more realistic, like adding browser tabs and implementing basic terminal commands such as mkdir for example
I thought it was gonna be a game where you write the exploits yourself, but it looks like you just use tools that exist to find the exploit. Not really a puzzle game as the email tells to what to do.
It is kind of short, but the developer seems to be fixing a lot of bugs. The story was interesting.
Fun game. a little bit short but worth all the money. Maybe more is coming soon? It would be very nice. The game itself explains alot of the used methods and gives some background information too, which is nice to see.
