Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 19.29/day in the week to Sep 2 → 26.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

1.3 Update: Fundamentally a different game than it used to be. I have physical limitations and the game design is changing enough to phase me out as a player. Thanks for the amazing time, but given what is apparently in store for 1.3.1, I think this is me done. Best of luck in the future, but I cannot recommend this game for people like me anymore. If arpgs that require precise positioning and fast twitch reflexes are up your alley, I would 100% recommend this game! It really is good, and the recent changes make it much more difficult than before. *My bad review is based solely on the fact that the game design used to let me play how I want and enjoy all content, and that is no longer the case. I would suggest people stay off of the Crate Forums. The public face of the company and balance dev has fostered a toxic cesspool for a community. Edit: removed direct naming of dev responsible for toxic community.

it's fine! it's good! i do bemoan the fact that the maps feel a tad too big at times and how much walking you have to do but there's a solid game here. lots of bits and bobs to explore and interact with in terms of systems which you'll have to do because of the nature of gearing in the game. if you truly hesitate, the game regularly goes on sale for less than a burger (at least i assume less than a burger i don't know where you the reader the person reading this might reside but i assume you live in a place where you can get cheaper burgers in 2026 as of writing this ok maybe the more i think about it the more of a bad comparision this is) let's settle for less than a meal in general unless you buy something from what would be the equivalent of a local dollar store. ok i lost myself in the comparison but the point is the game goes on sale cheap regularly if you truly hesitate!! game's over a decade old too and still getting updates and DLC so there's no real "bad" time to consider playing it either!
way to buggy, use to be a good game, now it's a broken hot mess

4/10 Pros: - Dual class system is cool - Classes are generally cool - Items upgrades are exciting - Lots of content - Level variety is pretty good Cons: - Masteries identity might be cool but it doesnt matter. The devotion (constellation) system will make any skill you use a rainbow of effects. The more you advance, the less your character has an identity. - Too many systems are either only described on the website or poorly deascribed by hlaf a book worth of text in game (factions and resistance reduction for example). - Areas are too big for the limited movement abilities you have. You will spend hours walking slowly trying to find where the sidequest is. - The gameplay you have at lvl 10 is the same at lvl 60. Pick 1-3 skills at the beggining, they won't change, only numbers will. - Most items are useless. After 15-20 levels, you can expect 1 item upgrade every 2-3hrs. - Balance is pretty bad. You will one shot most enemies, 2 shot most elites, then you will spend 5min killing a boss that is mechanically the same as an elite (no real fight, just press right click for minutes unti it is dead). - Even thought there are many class combination possible, most of them do not work (different elements, scale with different attributes, balance of offence and defence, etc) Overall, 10 first hours were fun, then I felt like I finished the main campaign on veteran mode, played most of two dlcs. And didnt *feel* like my character had improved. Only bigger numbers, and a painfully slow walk in big half empty areas. For this game, less would have been better. Smaller areas, more monster to fight, less but more interresting side quests. Not a bad game, but even compared to old ARPGs, it feels over rated to me. Apparently the games become better later on, it shouldnt be this borring for so long. Note: this is my opinion, if you do not aggree or think you could like the game, play it and have fun.
ARPG with lots of content. Built for sweats. Lots of rippy encounters everywhere, loot system is really poor, dropping mostly trash you'll never use. Expansions add to the loot table, making it even less likely you'll get useful things. Far far too many damage types to cover unless you want to farm the same content for hours and hours so that right piece of gear with the right affixes drops, or you can grind and grind reputation pointlessly after you've done every side-quest in the area (it requires you restart the game to respawn things to farm them). The game massively doesn't respect your time, and it leaves the feeling of progression in the game lacking. Which is really weird because other games in the genre like POE do this so that they can keep you playing forever. This game doesn't need that and yet still relies on crappy itemization. Even more puzzling, they created a crafting system to help players get better items, and then gated it behind higher difficulties that you can't unlock until you've beaten the game on veteran... There's also a lot of QOL nits in the game. Fences and other arbitrary things in the way everywhere you go, leading you to have to backtrack over and over. Quest locations are super vague, sometimes not even telling you the correct zone to travel to, or you just have to look it all up on a wiki (you shouldn't have to do that). It's content rich, but some of the design choices and lack of QOL really make the game feel tedious. I played through the original and it was so-so. Then came back for the Fangs expansion and got all of the DLC. It is still so-so. I wouldn't buy it again given the choice and wont recommend it to friends.
I really love this game, in fact it's easily one of my favourite (if not THE favourite) ARPGs. The new mastery is fun and the overall quality of the content is high. Rich lore, tasteful music, amazing art. But IMHO there are some weird balance decisions... The game currently almost feels like a "souls-like", which is also a genre I very much enjoy, but I believe it to be dissonant with what this game used to be. In fact since this game is built with an ancient engine, it feels wrong having to deal with all the twitchy dodge mechanics or you're dead. Besides that, on higher difficulties like ultimate (and even worse on ascendant), you can die almost or even instantly to attacks and not processing even what happened, even with good defensive layers, high HP and overcapped res. It's still an addictive game with overall high quality, but I still can't agree with the current balance. I want to recommend this, but the balance really leaves a sour taste...
Getting intakilled by Beronath's Doom bolts, on Ultimate difficulty, that are missing me. It happened twice already. First time was during mid dogde away from the landing site, i wasn't inside the radius any longer, and the second time I was on the opposite side of the arena where the bolts were landing. And both times it was sunder and dead instantly. Not sunder and then slapped again. Got instakilled by a random hero, on Ascendant difficulty, from an Asterkan totem with a 18,4k hit while I had 17.6k health. Could not see anything because the fight became a mosh pit were I was surround on all sides and unable to move and dodge. The balance of this DLC and patch is horrible! Constanlty sucking down pots just to stay alive and running away to not get hit by anything because anytime I get hit 70% to 90% of my health disapears. Here's the dead build: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/VxAGe3EZ (I have changed the augments after the Asterkan totem instakill to the 4% health powders, did not change anything in regards to survivability. Worthless waste of time. Before the change they were Bysmiel's +16 defensive ability and +16 health regen powder.)
