Griftlands is a deck-building roguelite where you negotiate, fight, steal or otherwise persuade others to get your way. Every decision is important, be it the jobs you take, the friends you make, or the cards you collect.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Seldom have I quit a game after playing this little. Basically three strikes in a row: The androgynous characters (I had to hear her voice to find out that I was playing a woman). The lame humor (the first character you meet was called “Fsssh,” which looked like some kind of fish woman). The bloodless cartoon violence in a supposedly “dark” setting where everyone was out to kill everyone else, yet no blood was shown — even when people were hit with laser blades. I played a little longer so I could write a proper review, but it didn’t get any better. The obvious “good gal” dialogue choices. The uninspired out-of-combat mechanics that felt like a mobile game. The generic, lame dialogue with those fake voices you use when you’re too cheap to hire voice actors. All I have to say is: thankfully, I can still refund it.

Griftlands combines RPG mechanics, visual novel storytelling, and deck-building roguelike gameplay into a surprisingly perfect mix. Even after multiple playthroughs of its campaigns, I find myself eager for the next run. The short, challenging campaigns make each adventure highly replayable and rewarding. It’s remarkable how well these diverse mechanics come together, and once you experience their appeal, it’s difficult to step away from Griftlands.
This is a great deck builder game. If you liked slay the spire this is a no brainer
This is a fun little game that reminds me of Slay the Spire a lot! Get it at a discount and it'd be a steal if you like these kind of card games. This publisher has a lot of discounted bundles. I would say it has at least 30 hours of gameplay but with a lot of replay value to unlock more cards. So for a completionist, I would guess there is at least 60-70 hours of gameplay.
The game has good gameplay, but clicking through countless paragraphs of "story" really kills me. I'm also a bit unsure about the balance. I think I was playing on normal, and then the endboss just dealt about 4x the damage of any previous enemy, and I died in 2 turns. Feels like every combat up until then was just pointlessly easy and suddenly the real game starts, but only for 1 encounter and then that's the game.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daifRE0JXDI 💼 Critique Steam – Griftlands
✅ Conclusion Griftlands est une pépite.
This game is just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good, man. I'd put it on the same shelf as Slay the Spire, and thats someone who absolutely loves StS. It's just such an enjoyable time. Three distinct characters, with their own colorful personalities, builds, and campaigns. The world building is just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantastic, which is such an odd thing for a roguelike deckbuilder, but man. I want a full fledged RPG set in this universe so bad. Every single NPC and interaction is just filled with so much color and personality, and humor, and also plenty of dark stuff too. It's a great time. 100% worth your money. I'd pay double for this damn game. edit: man i was gushing so much i forgot to mention its main mechanic, of how you have a battle deck for battles, and then a negotiation deck for any speechy things you try to do. The battles are already great, but man the negotiations are SO much fun, and honestly make me laugh all the time with the ♥♥♥♥ the characters say. And the faces they all make.
Big fan of Klei's previous works: I think the issue here is just that there is too much fluff surrounding the the core game, papering over that the card game isn't very fun. Two decks, tons of story, character relationships, 3 stories, etc. etc etc, But the moment to moment of the decks themselves are just not very fun: cards are overly complicated on negotiation side and combat is a bit boring until you get in a fight where you very very suddenly die. I only really liked the first character, but all the dialog stopped me from wanting to do another run. Suggest skipping: go play the very good don't starve, Invisible Inc. or Mark of the Ninja instead.
There's a lot to like here aesthetically, but the replayability is just too weak for a roguelite. The stories are ultimately a railroad. A lot of the mechanics are needlessly complex and ultimately shallow, particularly the negotiation combat.
