Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Choose your side in the American Civil War: Real-time campaign, spanning from Secession to the end of the war, with historical objectives for both sides.
Five campaign scenarios (Pre-War, 1861, 1862, 1863, 1864) and twenty (20) stand-alone battles from 1st Manassas in 1861 to Appomattox Court House in 1865.
Change history: What if European superpowers intervened to end the war, or Lincoln lost the presidential election of 1864?
Scott’s Great Snake: Lay siege, raid and blockade your enemy on land and sea or use blockade runners to keep the life-lines to Europe open.
From Fort Sumter to Appomattox: Watch closely the morale of your citizens and troops. As the war drags on, fervor turns to fatigue, the treasury threatens to run dry, and measures like drafting will cause unrest.
Keep the armies marching: Build and manage the flow of supplies to your armies. Utilize and expand railroad lines to supply and move armies for the first time in history!
Pivotal battles: Fight battles lasting multiple days on historical battlefields. Use engineers to build pontoons and dig trenches, see reinforcements change the tide and commit your reserves to defeat the enemy.
Grant vs. Lee: Manage hundreds of historical commanders with personal attributes and specialization. Famous commanders inspire soldiers and citizens alike and loss of reputation can be irreparable.
Command Great Armies: Huge armies of infantry, cavalry and artillery, with realistic command structures and historical Order of Battle.
Bring the Civil War to life: Amazing Civil War re-enactment and combat footage from LionHeart FilmWorks, and an original soundtrack of old time music and drum and fife band.Updates

The game is far from finished and has since been abandoned by the devs after releasing a cash-grab DLC
Overall its a good game, but its very bugged. And what is the worst devs seems like dont give a damn about it, coz i have the same gameplay breaking bugs that were not even adressed for many updates. Like, for example, a siege bug where enemy armies just stroll over your entrenched armies and ui keeps spamming combat screen and if your entrenched troops deploy to siege it just keeps spamming it infinitely unless you attack or they pass through. Game breaking. Or lets say when routed enemy troops with 0 morale kick butt to your pursuing full strenght cavalry. Or when wheat consumption spirals to infinite and your economy cant produce enough even if the whole map covered in a grain farms. And a lot of other bugs and glitches. So yea, i dont think it will be ever fixed, just expect another dlc noone needs.

needs a lot of work, to UI in battles make it practically difficult to command individual units. grouping armies is unnecessarily complex and the tutorial is a swamp of information. It has potential it really needs to be ironed out though. Ultimate General is much better for tactical battles
Seems pretty historically accurate. Very difficult if playing CSA.
Terrific game, very complex economy, political, and military systems. It possesses strategic, operational, and tactical levels of military campaigns. One improvement I would want to make is the promotion of and assignment of officers to military units. Otherwise it is a great challenge!
Great game play, could use some work on the AI, and more fleshed out economic system, I would like more control over my nation's economy.
I'll probably be playing this in my retirement. Long, deep game - and fantastic.
Most comprehensive strategic and tactical Civil War simulation ever. Developers' hard work has produced a great gaming experience.
This is such an incredible game for military commanders. 5.9 hours in a single day i just could not stop playing. Unlike titles such as scourge of war you get the gist of it pretty quick as the UI is extremely intuitive. Graffics wise dont expect miracles but what it lacks in shiny it delivers in detail. I'm not a hardcore strategy player but as i said, the UI is so Intuitive i got the hang of it in 2 hours. Easy to understand hard to master. Now I don't know much about the civil war aside from the movie Gods and Generals and Gettysburg but the beauty is you don't need to, as the game explains every battle you will fight and the chain of command is pretty straightforward. These guys are truly passionate about their history and if every country had people as dedicated to honoring their history and theirs like this the world would be a better place. I want to truly thank the team for this outstanding piece of interactive art. Again, i'm not american at all but this is a very very good introduction to the civil war. Hope the Napoleonic game comes along nicely.
