Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Choose your side in the American Civil War: Real-time campaign, spanning from Secession to the end of the war, with historical objectives for both sides.
Five campaign scenarios (Pre-War, 1861, 1862, 1863, 1864) and twenty (20) stand-alone battles from 1st Manassas in 1861 to Appomattox Court House in 1865.
Change history: What if European superpowers intervened to end the war, or Lincoln lost the presidential election of 1864?
Scott’s Great Snake: Lay siege, raid and blockade your enemy on land and sea or use blockade runners to keep the life-lines to Europe open.
From Fort Sumter to Appomattox: Watch closely the morale of your citizens and troops. As the war drags on, fervor turns to fatigue, the treasury threatens to run dry, and measures like drafting will cause unrest.
Keep the armies marching: Build and manage the flow of supplies to your armies. Utilize and expand railroad lines to supply and move armies for the first time in history!
Pivotal battles: Fight battles lasting multiple days on historical battlefields. Use engineers to build pontoons and dig trenches, see reinforcements change the tide and commit your reserves to defeat the enemy.
Grant vs. Lee: Manage hundreds of historical commanders with personal attributes and specialization. Famous commanders inspire soldiers and citizens alike and loss of reputation can be irreparable.
Command Great Armies: Huge armies of infantry, cavalry and artillery, with realistic command structures and historical Order of Battle.
Bring the Civil War to life: Amazing Civil War re-enactment and combat footage from LionHeart FilmWorks, and an original soundtrack of old time music and drum and fife band.Updates

Look i like this game a lot but i refunded it because for 45 bucks you dont get much and there is never a sale :/ if it was 15 or 20 i would get it for sure
I recommend that people wait for the developers to actually fix these issues first before they buy this game and its DLC: 1. Path-finding is retarded 2. Area of operations on the battlefield kept changing every 30 seconds until I get to the front lines and actually engage the enemy 3. Army corps AI is retarded, striking into the middle of North Carolina without establishing a supply line AND without capturing any town between Charlotte and Washington DC is obviously going to do wonders for morale /heavy-sarcasm 4. Stupidly long periods without any actual fighting: #3 happened a whole year after the Civil War started and the Army of the Potomac did ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when it was sitting in front of DC before it suddenly decided to haul ass to Ohio and then charge into Charlotte. This is on aggressive AI and hard settings

Over 1800 hours playing this game and I can't get enough... replay ability is off the chain and this game never gets old to me. Don't make a mistake strategy wise or you will be punished. The DLC is also great!
This is a fun Civil War game that allows the player to make national political, strategic military, and battlefield tactical decisions. It all so has the Whiskey and Lemons DLC that lets the player role play a career as an officer progressing from command of a single regiment to the command of an entire army. The AI is a little quirky, but what AI isn't.
Likely the most realistic RTS game out there. Definitely the best musket / line warfare RTS. Biggest flaw is the AI, it sometimes does stupid moves on the battlefield, and very often initiates battles that are guaranteed losses. You generally won't lose a battle if you aren't significantly outnumbered, under supplied or taken heavy moral damage.
I like the depth of the game and the idea of the Whiskey & Lemons DLC, but as an RTS fan, why is there a level of zoom on the map where I don't see any of my unit Icons? Is that supposed to be the cinematic view distance?
There is something here, so ballacheingly close to a really great game in a time period seldom explored, but the clunky controls and UI just holds it back. I get why the controls and the UI is the way that it is i really do, but i think the over emphasis on realism and sheer delay from issuing an order, to waiting for everyone to get that order, to waiting for every unit to get into formation, to finally moving every time you want to make a move with more than one unit is just so...... ehh I get that's its all about the Order of Battle and maintenance of chain of command. and that's cool, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does it shoot the fun in the foot. Loosen the controls a bit, embrace a slight move away from realism and you'll have a bloody good formula here.
tried to fight my first battle in the game's own tutorial as the Union. Robert E Lee pops up and tells me ♥♥♥♥ about Ewell and to select Jackson and a dozen other things I can't do. Tells me to wait til 1900, I started this NON confederate battle at 0600 so its 20x while I walk across an empty map because the wait obj script refuses to let my enemy spawn. Finally get to the next day after ages of waiting and set my army up to repulse an attack, 25000 rebs walk in behind me while Robert E Lee tells me that "Thank god Ewells here" 10/10, dont bother in the slightest aom mod makes it slightly better but this game in general is just a massive bother to play
The best Civil War game ever made. If you like RTS games but aren't invested in the Civil War, wait for a sale. Can be buggy and is imperfect, and the AI isn't great, but overall it's hugely ambitious and clearly made with a lot of care and passion for the subject matter, which is funny because the devs are European. Definitely keep an eye out for whatever the dev team makes in the future.
no esta en cristiano y es muy complicado. La idea es buena pero podria ser mas sencillo de comprender.
