Was a great time, first RPG since KCD2 i've really enjoyed playing
Was also ist das Problem?

I really want to like this game, especially given what I paid for it. But starting out is very hard, maybe too hard. Not only do you have to contend with the local wildlife, which is virtually impossible with the junk weapon you start with, but you have to deal with NPCs in camp that will kill you if you don't pay for "protection" with money (ore) you can ill afford to throw away. Additionally, in order to level up you have to pay an NPC to train you which in essence means no leveling if you don't have the "ore" to do so. I see no value in this other than to make the game more difficult than it already is. I honestly don't mind a challenge that presents in a manner that a new player can contend with, but this is just a pain in the a**.
Still one of the best games ever made and Alkimia absolutely nailed this remake. Can we have Gothic 2 next please?
Just finished the first complete run and...well, this is an amazing title! It really catches the original atmosphere and provides the beloved deep immersion! The developers managed to dance on the razors edge in several points: They enhanced the game in many ways like the fighting system, crafting, new skills and new locations or strongly extended the existing ones. But they never made "too much", always keeping the setting, the feeling and at some points, brought in some new ideas, which are fitting really well. In summary, it's a considerable remake, you always feel the developers passion in so much details! Really good job! (from a true fan of the original titles) It would be so great to see Gothic II Remake made in exactly this way - add nothing, it fits as it is!
Completed game on hard difficulty 4/10
Absolute Empfehlung!!
