Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Was pleasantly surprised with this as a indie title, while it doesn't do anything unique with its gameplay, its a fun action platformer and hack and slash. It starts really slow restrictive and boring, but once you leave the first level that's when it really hits its stride. While it doesn't have a lot of attacks its flashiness of makes up for it, especially when there are enemies everywhere and you are riding on walls, rails and fighting 40 to 1. its level design was also really cool and satisfying hoverboarding so fast on these cool looking levels. Bosses are surprisingly fun as it challenges you to in both combat and platforming and nothing felt like a copy paste. the underwater aspect was a real standout as it made you think think quicker on your feet. As much as i did enjoy it makes me wanting a bigger budget as this is very linear in its design as there could be so much more to this idea. Only real negative i have is its story, its not very interesting. I understand this is a silly concept from the start, but it felt like there weren't sure if they wanted this to be silly, serious sci-fi, or cringe 90s "radical" skateboarder talk with profanity every minute or something emotional so they decided to all 4 at the same time. but skipping the cutscenes and just kicking back on a controller was a fun time as a one and done game

I really wish yet again that Steam allowed for more neutral reviews, because I sit very neutral with this title, but I do feel like the positives manage to outweigh its negatives for me at almost every turn. I overall had a great time with this game. It feels like a real AA passion project that tries very hard to hold your attention, and I believe it accomplishes this very well. Gori: Cuddly Carnage is VERY 2000s. Much of the humor has that sort of edgy tinge to it that I am sure must be at least a bit divisive. The novelty of playing as a cat is a bonus in my book, and you even have a dedicated meow button! I love that so much. Gori actually doesn't do more than meow the entire game. Instead, there is a wider cast of supporting characters that move the story along and give us context. The problem I have is a matter of personal taste, which is that I largely could not STAND these characters. F.R.A.N.K. felt like an Invader Zim character sometimes, definitely reminding me of GIR on more than one occasion. He starts singing at one point and I had some middle school flashbacks to GIR driving Zim insane, except in this case I was actually Zim. He also reminded me of ClapTrap in ways that were getting truly grating as the game continued, to a point where I ended up lowering dialog volume to about 30% by level 4 (I'm sorry!). His novelty wore off for me very quickly. It's a lot of constant sarcastic, edgy quips and excessive bleeped out vulgarity. Some comedic moments landed for me, but I would say for the most part, the comedy is hit or miss with mostly misses for me. I believe if this IS your sense of humor, though, you will have a blast: if the idea of adorable things saying bad words a lot is super hilarious to you, you will love this game. The game is fully voice acted, but I would say the performance quality can vary quite a bit character to character. The levels are very beautifully put together, and when the game chooses to really commit to a theme, I appreciate that they try to go all out. Some parts definitely reminded me of something like Alice: Madness Returns, which is a big compliment! The overall design for the levels can struggle a bit, however. I find that the path forward is not always clear, and if branching paths are involved, it can be easy to get turned around. It can be a little frustrating to waste a few minutes or so trying to explore a room for a puzzle solution only to find the actual progression was to backtrack, sometimes further back than you might expect. I don't think this is a huge deal, but it could be improved. Seeing the later levels get increasingly strange and aesthetically unique was very fun, and I wish the game actually pushed these themes even harder! I think certain moments like the early level based on arcade games could have really pushed the envelope and made each area really different, basing each machine off of a different game rather than having each one look mostly the same. The later levels though are particularly fun, and I really like this game's style. It is pure visual chaos covered in neons and an absurd amount of blood. The main part of the game and the reason I tolerated F.R.A.N.K. for nearly ten hours comes down to how great the combat feels. Gori is responsive, fluid, and easy to control. The combat lacks a lot of depth and there aren't many combos, but you do have a decent little arsenal of weapons and moves that can be upgraded with money. IT is SO SATISFYING to get a high boost, revolving through your various movesets, flying through the air to drop a quick rocket launcher at an enemy across the map, then wiping out several enemies with a brutal smash landing. Watching my score go up with the kill counter is satisfying, but I feel like the grading system doesn't really encourage you to go for beefier enemies as it doesn't take long for your PPP grade to decline to a C in the time it takes in the early game to kill a bigger bad. When you run out of energy, the combat feels like it grinds to a halt and I then have to run and locate somewhere to refill when I was just hitting my rhythm. It makes the early game feel a bit awkward, but can be mitigated with upgrades. The platforming is there, but it feels like it isn't a much focus and sometimes can feel a little awkward to traverse. I found that in many areas, entire platforming sections can be bypassed with a double jump and a boost, whereas other moments I had to completely stop and position my landing as to not overshoot. It can really interrupt the flow of the game and I wish the platforms were spaced out to encourage you to go fast and use all the grinding rails and walls, because when it works, it is very satisfying. This definitely feels like a great AA passion project that comes together well despite the parts that didn't gel with me and I don't regret picking it up on sale, or spending 10hrs with it. It unapologetically knows exactly what is is and doesn't try to be anything else: a violent hack 'n slash about gutting cute plushies, bursting with juvenile humor. At every turn the game will double down on what it is. I respect the commitment, but it could be a bit draining. I don't think it will leave a strong lasting impression, but I don't regret playing it either.

I look up the definition of a "game", this is a game. I look up the definition of "fun", this is fun.
