About
From Santa Monica Studio and brought to PC in partnership with Jetpack Interactive comes God of War Ragnarök, an epic and heartfelt journey that follows Kratos and Atreus as they struggle with holding on and letting go.
The sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War (2018), God of War Ragnarök picks up with Fimbulwinter well underway. Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as Odin’s forces in Asgard prepare for a prophesied battle that will end the world.
Along the way, they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. As the threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer, Kratos and Atreus must choose between the safety of their family and the safety of the realms.
Atreus seeks knowledge to help him understand the prophecy of “Loki” and establish his role in Ragnarök. Kratos must decide whether he will be chained by the fear of repeating his mistakes or break free of his past to be the father Atreus needs.
The Leviathan Axe, Blades of Chaos, and Guardian Shield return alongside a host of new abilities for both Kratos and Atreus. Kratos’ deadly Spartan skills will be tested like never before as he battles gods and monsters across Nine Realms to protect his family.
Journey through dangerous and stunning landscapes as Kratos and Atreus search for answers.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 1: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Can't believe one of my favourite characters was a Blue dwarf

Hra nefunguje
The first 13 hours of this game is sadly an irritating walking simulator stuffed with utterly boring cinematic sequences. Nothing remotely interesting happens in the first half of the main storyline. It took me months to get through that part, because it was so bad that I could not stand playing more than one session every two weeks or so. This has obliterated every last ounce of tolerance and interest that I had for it. I wanted to get a refund, but that wasn’t an option anymore. I kept it installed, and I decided that no matter what, one day I will continue and eventually finish it. So I did. The game actually begins in the second half, around the point where Atreus goes to Asgard, then events finally start to ramp up. You get more chances for decent combat encounters, more interesting zones, more meaningful story milestones and less drawn-out, tepid cinematics. However, the gameplay took several steps backwards from the first game. The combat is simply not fun. The way the animations and the moves are designed does not allow you to seamlessly chain together different moves. You do one special attack, which might not even have enough time to fully finish due to rapid incoming attacks, then you either get hit, or you have to dodge, block, shield charge or parry. Every combat scenario versus ANY type of enemies goes down the exact same way. You are not required to do anything differently as you progress, other than switch between countering elements in case a health bar is shielded by fire or ice. The runic attacks are downright useless, you do not have the time and the opportunity to open yourself up and spend so much time in one position to finish casting them. You are much better off doing special attacks or delivering a melee combo. The enemy design? Where are we, in some level 1 zone of some run-of-the-mill MMO? Frogmen, glowing orbs, elemental ghouls and some regular dudes? Other than the occasional big beasts, the enemies were way too basic. This is what the Nine Realms have to offer? They must have run out of stock before Kratos got here. About the exploration, it feels less detailed than the first game. The areas feel smaller, less populated. There is not much to find, and the occasional puzzles are less challenging. Also, backtracks happen way too often to the same areas where you have passed through before. From the narrative perspective, the story did not bring anything expansive to the table. You can’t really put a finger on what the story is about. It’s just a hodgepodge of raising children, setting an example, growing up, saving the world and of course Ragnarök, which we have seen and read so many times already in other forms of media. The characters were a bit weird too - bar some exceptions - many of them have been shoehorned into the same stereotype: passive-aggressive, uppity, arrogant with a topping of Adderall overdose. I understand that the script was made for kids and grown-ups alike, but the way many characters talked did not match their origin at all. Kratos, Atreus, Freya, Mimir, Brok, Thor were fine but I kind of despised the rest of the voice direction. There was a problem with casting choices too, for example, why did Tyr get such a high tone voice? It felt like a mismatch. All of these issues have left such a sour taste in my mouth. I did not want to continue after finishing the main story, so I uninstalled it right away. I don’t care about side quests, collectibles, or Valhalla, and I regret buying this game. It was 5% fun and 95% agony, and I would not recommend it to anyone. To close out this lengthy review, I believe this game suffers from a clinically serious identity crisis. What does it want to be? Is it a hack and slash? I wouldn’t say so. Is it an RPG? I don’t think so.. Is it an action adventure? Somewhat, but not really. Is it a walking simulator? In part, yes, but not entirely. Is it a cinematic game? Also partially. It contains elements from so many different games that you can’t define what it wants to be anymore. It’s an undefinable mush, just like similar adventure games published by Playstation in the past 6-8 years. Many of them are almost identical. Same concept, same graphics, same mix of combat/walking/cinematics, and ultimately a below average experience. Someone among the higher-ups there, who approves and pushes this obsolete direction needs to be replaced. Wolverine undoubtedly is going to be the same type of slop, you can already feel it in the previews. GoW: Laufey looks awful as well. But, unless they revert their recent decision - to stop with PC releases - I won’t be playing any of them.

God of War Ragnarök — просто невероятная игра.
