About
From Santa Monica Studio and brought to PC in partnership with Jetpack Interactive comes God of War Ragnarök, an epic and heartfelt journey that follows Kratos and Atreus as they struggle with holding on and letting go.
The sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War (2018), God of War Ragnarök picks up with Fimbulwinter well underway. Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as Odin’s forces in Asgard prepare for a prophesied battle that will end the world.
Along the way, they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. As the threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer, Kratos and Atreus must choose between the safety of their family and the safety of the realms.
Atreus seeks knowledge to help him understand the prophecy of “Loki” and establish his role in Ragnarök. Kratos must decide whether he will be chained by the fear of repeating his mistakes or break free of his past to be the father Atreus needs.
The Leviathan Axe, Blades of Chaos, and Guardian Shield return alongside a host of new abilities for both Kratos and Atreus. Kratos’ deadly Spartan skills will be tested like never before as he battles gods and monsters across Nine Realms to protect his family.
Journey through dangerous and stunning landscapes as Kratos and Atreus search for answers.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 1: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
God Of War Ragnarök
HOURS OF BLOAT. 35% less fun than the first
Improved gameplay and way more interesting plot in my opinion getting to see Odin and Thor a lot more, environment variety was far better in this one too, combat is way more fun but harder enemies too. The boss fights were amazing especially the story ones and the OST is great again. Story wise it wraps everything up pretty well from the first game and I'd recommend the duology if you love well-written, story heavy games. 9/10
After 30 hours of playing, I can confidently say that this game feels more like an escape room than a combat game. Unlike other combat-focused games I've played, where most of the challenges are built around boss fights, most of the challenges in this game are essentially "locks" that you need to figure out how to open. Each lock requires a different "solution," and you have to figure it out before you can continue progressing through the game. Unfortunately, the boss design is extremely underwhelming. The bosses don't feel particularly different from regular enemies, and their moves and combat mechanics are largely the same. After 30 hours, I honestly can't think of a single boss that left a memorable or interesting impression on me.
Amazing game once again. I cried my eyes out, Atreus and Kratos' journey is truly one of the most compelling ones out there. A story of who you were, and who you choose the be. There are so many lessons in this game is you pay attention to them. Great fighting, great story, great environment, and great vibes all around. Can't wait for the remakes of 1-3 and the new Laufey game. However, I will say. ♥♥♥♥ those Beserkers. I ain't killing them, I'd prefer not having a stroke from a popped blood vessel in the brain.
