Fun
Horrible updates: The two worst additions were the mall bosses and the day/night cycle. Mall bosses are way too common, making the map overly rewarding. The day/night cycle also made raids more annoying by forcing players to calculate what time they'll load into instead of simply choosing day or night. On top of that, we've had multiple wipes with very little new content while long-standing issues, like the attachment system, remain broken. Side rails, canted rails, grips, and lasers still don't work properly, yet the focus seems to be on patching rat spots instead. Too many bandaid fixes: Instead of solving problems, the devs often work around them. - AP ammo was removed instead of being rebalanced. - Purple vaults temporarily required orange keycards because of duping instead of fixing the dupe. - Grenades, armor, and backpacks were removed from containers instead of fixing the bugs causing issues. - Doors were repeatedly removed and reworked because they were buggy. - Delivery quests were turned into turn-in quests for almost an entire wipe. Bug fixing is inconsistent: There was even a "bug fix" update that accidentally released the exact same build as the live version. Features listed as fixed, like radio voices, still aren't fixed months later. Bosses were also supposed to be disabled during the first week of wipe but weren't. Meanwhile, patch notes often focus on obscure bugs almost nobody has ever encountered. Poor testing: One update caused using an NRS to crash the game nearly every time. That was fixed within a day, meaning basic testing could have prevented it entirely. horid balancing: Weapon balancing constantly swings between overpowered and useless. The MCX Spear was overpriced then removed, while the FAL became cheaper and better. The BAR went from one of the strongest budget guns to almost never being used after massive nerfs. Armor, ammo, and grenade balancing continue to feel inconsistent. Island rework: Old Island was much smaller, making PvP far more frequent. The new map doubled in size while player count barely increased, making raids feel empty and turning the map into a walking simulator. Night Island also lost much of what made it exciting, and the new lighting makes the map look much flatter than before. Secure containers: At first they seemed like a great addition, but now almost everyone unlocks them within days of wipe. Players rarely carry keycards, AP mags, or meds anymore because they keep everything in secure containers. Killing geared players simply isn't as rewarding as it used to be. Lack Of Community Interaction The developers used to host community spotlights and clip-of-the-month events, but those disappeared years ago. While they still occasionally listen to feedback, overall interaction with the community feels far lower than it used to be. (this review was supposed to be longer but steam has the 8,000 character limit)

i genuinely wouldnt be surprised if they started selling the bugfixes as dlcs
Absolutely love this game. I have put many hours into it with well over 1000 hours on all platforms and almost never hate the game enough to not play. Yes there are bugs but they are not as bad as some say. I do think that devs could and should put more priority into certain bugs and problems in game rather then adding some random crap that isn’t needed but i don’t notice most of it anymore that I have gotten used to it. And when people say that this game is worse then it once was also think about the fact that there were way less features and abilities back then compared to what we have now making there be different styles of bugs and problems. I might be lucky as well but overall I feel like the bugs that are currently in the game and majority of ones that have been there in the past were not that bad and ones that required death threats to the developers and people who made this great game. If you are newly getting into the game expect for a difficult experience as this game unranked matchmaking makes it very hard and difficult for new players but once you get into it it is so much fun. Just don’t get depressed when it takes forever to get out of your first raid trust me I’ve been there it took me well over 50 raids when I first started to get out of my first raid. PS- devs continue doing what your doing I love this game and even with bugs have always stuck with it just pls do try and focus more on some bugs that highly affect gameplay and enjoyment of the game not adding random items and small un abusable bugs such as the fridge or the tiny little gap in the bunker.
Okay, the game's concept is good: an extraction shooter in the style of "Escape from Tarkov" in virtual reality. But it has its pros and cons: Pros: - This game, due to its progression system, can be quite addictive. Acquiring new loot, leveling up your buyers... you can easily sink many hours into it. - It has a pretty good community and very active developers who listen to the community and release constant patches. - The loot in this game is fantastic; you have diverse types of weapons and equipment with complete freedom to customize them. This makes each match different and unique. Cons: - The latest major updates to this game have focused more on a mainstream audience and less on the previously dedicated military-themed players. These recent updates have brought a lot of content, mechanics, and adjustments that have caused some controversy and discontent among players. Like the addition of new DLC, Security Containers, TTK... - Raids are objectively difficult these days (especially with lower-level loot) because the AI in this game is quite poorly balanced, resulting in absurd aim and an equally absurd detection system. Add to that the fact that bots frequently have vests, helmets, and in some cases, long guns, which can definitely ruin your gameplay, especially if you're a beginner or want to use cheaper loot. This, in turn, means that most players have much more expensive and better loot than you, giving you minimal chances of surviving raids unless you have good weapons. - This game is not at all noob-friendly. It has a lot of content, mechanics, and maps that will certainly make it quite difficult to navigate if you're new, especially if you're also new to virtual reality in general. - Playing solo can get quite boring unless you manage to interact with another raid member via proximity chat, although there's a 95% chance they'll speak English, so if you don't know English, that could be a problem. I've put many hours into this game, and as one of its founders since the beta, it used to be much more fun and playable than it is now, which is why I can't currently recommend it.
This game gave me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CANCER! Spawn in matka with a cute kit, followed by me and my teammate seeing 2 full kits after 20 seconds of raid. Barely got out of spawn, this ♥♥♥♥ is aids. If you spawn at bridge or even think about going to bridge, your already dead.
Have to be completely honest. this feels like a vr version of tarkov about 4-5 years ago with the glitches. walls dont matter when it comes to sound, especially footsteps. youll have tons of glitches with accepting quests and tasks, youll press the button to pick something up when the symbol is there and it wont pick up, Aimbot scavs, overall it can be fun if you enjoyed tarkov but you have to be ready to deal with many of the same issues. as a new player you will have a very rough time, and you will be dog walked by the people who play to simply hunt down others
A few years ago this game was the best in its genre, but over time the developers have become too greedy and have made too many poor choices. They prioritize microtransactions and greed over any quality game improvements. Its honestly just sad as this game HAD so much potential but ignored it. Just get contractors exfil, it will save your time and money as combat waffle just steals ideas and tries everything to port them to Vr.
столкнулся с проблемой захода в рейд, прочитал, скорее всего пробела в том, что я проживаю в России, впн не помог, не помогло подключение к интернету на телефоне, пустая трата денег и времени
