Lost Rift

Body Type 1 and 2 in character creation, and the first NPC is a differently-abled peg legged woman named "Wade Davis". Doesn't run great, controls and animations were poor. Pass.

I can’t recommend Lost Rift at this time. The game has too many issues that directly affect both solo and co‑op play. Server Problems: Multiple times the servers went down, and even in solo I couldn’t start the game at all. That’s not acceptable. When playing with a companion, we also ran into repeated problems trying to join expeditions. Ammo & Grind Issues: The gameplay is fun and challenging, but the ammo situation is awful. The grind to get ammo is insane, and the ammo you spend killing enemies is more than what you can realistically build up. Even on your own island’s danger zone, bow or crossbow only gets you so far. Shotgun guys take multiple headshots, and if you get surrounded — which happens a lot solo or with just one other person — you’re forced to burn ammo. This creates a bad resource loop where you never actually increase your inventory. Expeditions Punish You Hard: You’re basically forced to run expeditions, and if you die, you lose everything. That makes it even harder to recover. You try to build a stack of ammo, but you end up using what little you have just to get it, which puts you right back at square one. Progression Feels Like Loss Before Gain: Story progression might eventually open better options, but the challenge makes it feel like you’re constantly losing ground just to gain a little territory. Bugs & Building System: The game is extremely buggy — major glitches, getting stuck, and the construction system, while likable, is missing a lot of ease‑of‑use features. Final Verdict: Right now, I can’t recommend the game. For a cheap price it might be worth it, but that number needs to be low.

Good game, gunplay is smooth and nice. BUT the playerbase is very low so there currently is almost no pvp or you meet the same player over and over. Servers are also extremely unstable, sometime working perfectly, other times it screws up majorly. Hopefully this will be fixed on full release

AWESOME GAME, highly recommend checking it out if you like extraction shooters or survival games. its a great mix of both. love that there is co op pve versions of each map if you arent wanting to pvp as well. it does have its flaws. but its in beta so i wont hold it against the devs. worth checking out!
