ignore what people say the game is good and fun with friends. CWS has done alot and are tired but noone seems to care and realise making a game is hard work
I get it it's another extraction shooter but honestly the enemies they're not strong which is good bosses are ridiculously powerful for no reason and I'm just gonna say I am a bad shot I know finding rare stuff is not that easy I'm just going to say honest review is a 5 out of 10 of everything in this game and I don't really play this anymore because my friends and the people I used to love with no longer play this with me so I will no longer play this because of that and because this game is now becoming another Call of Duty with these skins this is ridiculous 0 out of 10 on the skins I hate them remove them out of the game please it would be the best decision you ever made
Worst version I've played thus far. The standalone version on Oculus 2 through Meta is already kind of rough. It looks like a 360p video and it struggles with more than 30 objects in the world at the same time, which is detrimental to a looter-shooter, your objects will de-spawn randomly. I tried the accompanying PCVR version through Meta as well, and it performs OK since it uses my PC for the heavy lifting it comes close to a 1080p feel, but with some graphical shortcuts. BUT THIS STEAM VERSION LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE SMEARED PETROLEUM JELLY ON YOUR EYEBALLS!! I understand it is still "early access" but the current state of the game is unacceptable. Oh, and you can't login using your credentials, so you have to start over from zero if you switch platforms. They haven't figured out a login system it seems?
9.7/10 - I love the game! I like how you get put into a decent variety of maps and you can play against players (PVP) or even bots (PVE) and the mix of them in PVP really add to the mix, also with how interactive stuff are! So with the variety of DLC's that you can get to change you're style of guns! - IMPORTANT The game's anti-cheat is one of the best I have ever seen, but this game is very reliable on components and how good or optimal you're PC is for VR gaming or heavy gaming. But I thought to mention the amount of bug's applied per update, but they get quickly fixed and usually never come back, also to put into thought this game is in EA (Early-Access)! - PERFORMANCE I have a 4060 RTX NVIDIA GPU with an INTEL CPU and it run's good! Especially with all of the performance change's you can do! - OVERALL I love it! Just on how you can go store stuff and the realism to it just adds onto it. So with the multi-player obviously that is great and adds to the practise you can do! - Highly recommended
Great possibility for a game and I like how there is a PVE mode now however overall the game is just not fun seemily on purpose. Having 'realistic' features like having to hold the backpack to put crap in it, reloading bullets into magazines manually, and having a giant complex stash don't make the game better it just makes it take more time and worse. We all know you are trying to replicate Tarkov and you did a good job but lets be real tarkov sucks to actually play and it is on desktop why the hell would you replicate the unfriendly parts of tarkov in VR. The guns felt good in the tutorial but reloading pistol magazines is really clunky, in fact reloading a lot of guns feels wrong compared to other games oh and the worst part of trying to learn is the tutorial has this ♥♥♥♥ ass star wars video playing where you can barely make out what the hell they are showing and it is a continuous video with no subtitles trying to explain something complex and often doesn't even include things that should also be explained. OH and the default controls suck and the hud was broken and I starved to death trying to fix it in the match after like 20 minutes and thanks for adding the annoying ass groaning sounds from tarkov 3/10.
The virtual gun stock has got to be the worst that I've ever used in any VR game holy.. it's almost as if they want you to buy their gunstock. Aiming doesn't feel natural at all, the scavs have lazer vision, grabbing your backpack is a chore, trying to sprint with your gun up is incredibly janky (will just randomly stop for no reason), placing items in the slingpack is always frustrating. I honestly cannot believe people prefer this game over exfil zone, feels like tabor is years behind it.
Could not even get past the gun calibration without the gun turning sideways when using both hands and a physical gunstock. Either I am stupid, or this game is.
the new bunker is horrible, don't get me wrong, I love the boxes for sorting stuff, but its just a logistical nightmare having to run for so long to get to a place and it just becomes so much more difficult to sort things. I like change but they could have kept the smaller, compact/cosy design and gone for more Vertical layout instead of this.
