Ghostlore is an 'Eastpunk' Action-RPG where you fight supernatural monsters from Southeast-Asian folklore. Inspired by classic ARPGs such as Diablo 2 and Titan Quest, Ghostlore features detailed item and character customization systems, procedurally generated maps, and awesome 90's retro graphics.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

What an excellent little game this is!
It's a smaller title, but the devs perfectly gathers what makes ARPGs good, resulting in a engaging game within a unique setting. One of the best ARPG's I have played.
Premise
You're a late 70's Singaporean ghostbuster and your mentor has just given you the reigns. Machine technology has arrived, but as you will find in your environment - only industrially. Appliances don't immediately change ones old habits. And then there's the influx of spirits. One might well say, this is the old in the new world. You, however, are also not of the new. Clinging to old culture, wield weapons of the old era in a time where the new era dominates. So be it. Ghostbuster-san sets off, belly filled, to do these missions for the locals. Surprisingly, these "monsters" drop all sorts of paraphernalia. Lucky you.
Ghostlore
Three phrases come directly into mind when playing / thinking of this game:

Hidden gem
Janky
Super vibey
This is a wonderful game, the music really helps set the vibe and overall the atmosphere is bustling. There's a sense of productivity, as you go about and do the things you need to do, you come "home" to a place of illusory activity. One can imagine village/city folk busy-ing about. The "ghosts" themselves are folklore from the surrounding Singaporean countries, so is the food.
Janky
There is some jank, however nothing gamebreaking. Like the screen becoming slightly too dark or map sector population being generated that makes the game stutter. Just small things.
Verdict
This is a really short review, as one should experience the game on their own and find out whether those 3 phrases come to your mind. Am giving this a full-hearted recommendation:
78%
Wonderful aRPG - looking forward to Ghostlore 2~!

I wanted to like this, but it seems insane ever for an indie game. I level up but can't find anywhere to buy stats. I go to a Power menu and can just pick whatever I like as much as I like until I run out of spaces on a grid? I summon some attack pets and they last 5 seconds before dying against the first mission's enemies. Items on the ground are super hard to pick up with a controller. When something as basic as picking up loot is a chore you know there are issues. Your dodge roll is hardcoded to dodge towards your cursor, not where your character is facing. You know where my cursor is? On the enemy. Why would I want to roll into the enemy? You can't open your character menu with a controller using the default controller scheme. Tried to hide my character's dumb headgear via a menu option. Didn't work. Neither did auto-aim with a controller unless the enemy was already up my ass. Then I got to the first non-tutorial level's boss. That's the first level, in case you were wondering. It has 5000 hp. I do 40 damage a hit and I have to kite constantly because the boss summons adds that kill you in seconds. That's about where I realised I could be playing Diablo 2 right now and exited. Devs. Come on now.
I'd love to offer a more nuanced review, but I barely played the game. From that small amount of time, it just didn't work for me. The biggest thing that I didn't like about it was the fact that you use LMB to move and attack. To me, it just makes the whole experience feel clunky and bad to play. Add on top of that the bad UI and the lack of any kind of direction and it just feels like a mess right out of the gate. There might be a good game in here, maybe for some the LMB thing feels OK, but there are other games I could be playing that I prefer to this. Children of Morta, for example, has a similar look to it... it also has multiplayer... it is an ARPG where you customize your character... but you move with WSAD and aim/use attacks with the mouse, like a normal game...
it's interesting. the skill systems are really fun to play around with the gameplay itself is kinda meh for me though. I'm not sure why. still, I think it's worth checking out for arpg fans that like a little puzzle solving (for the skills) oh and the food system is neat too!
The game is mindless min-maxing where you spend all your time throwing yourself at hordes. There's no quests, and the procedural maps are pointless. Who cares what the map looks like when there's only 1 objective per map? With combat being the only thing to do in the game, you'd think there'd be more depth to it, but, again, you're just picking what kind of damage you want to deal and adjusting your layout to pump those numbers the highest you can. The glyph system isn't too bad (though you quickly get too many of them and they just become more junk taking up space), and the class system that requires adding good and bad modifiers before you can equip a useful passive ability is interesting. There's definitely a skeleton of a good game here, but, at three years old, its not likely to get any updates to make it worth playing.
A short but solid little indie ARPG with some interesting ideas for build customization and a distinct setting. It has some rough edges as a result of its limited team, like the extremely slim availability of in-game information on systems, and controller support is... messy. But it's a reasonably good time.
One of the best action RPGs out there. Tight controls, excelente combat and build systems, functional systems and lovely 2D art with a cool eastern folklore inspiration. If you are looking for a great Diablo fix but don't wanna deal with always online, level scaling or season passes, this one is for you.
First off I want to say that this game isn't for me. I've never been much into east Asian aesthetics and story telling. HOWEVER I think mechanically this game is insanely creative and deserves a positive review. If you like south-east inspired mythos and are tired of the standard arpg class systems this is defintely worth checking out
