As the island burns in the wake of the first wave of the Mongol assault, courageous samurai warrior Jin Sakai stands resolute. As one of the last surviving members of his clan, Jin is resolved to do whatever it takes, at any cost, to protect his people and reclaim his home. He must set aside the traditions that have shaped him as a warrior to forge a new path, the path of the Ghost, and wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Tsushima.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 1: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Super chill moments of absolute Zen while exploring a magnificent open world interrupted by thrilling combat with probably the best swordfighting combat system Ive seen in a game and an epic story to experience! The ultimate Samurai game for sure!

# Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT – Review **Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT** is one of those games where you can easily forget that you're actually playing a game. You get completely immersed in the world, the music, the scenery, and Jin Sakai's story. Sucker Punch has created an incredible version of feudal Japan, and even years after its original release, the game still looks and feels fantastic. ## Story You play as **Jin Sakai**, a samurai trying to defend the island of Tsushima from the Mongol invasion. After suffering a devastating defeat, Jin is forced to change the way he fights. He has to move away from the traditional samurai code of honor and start using more unconventional methods, such as stealth, assassinations, and different gadgets. Jin's character development is one of the strongest parts of the story. He constantly struggles between who he was raised to be and what he feels he needs to become in order to save his people. The story isn't perfect, and some side quests can feel repetitive, but the main story has some genuinely powerful moments. The relationships between Jin and the other characters are also very well written. ## Gameplay & Combat The best part of Ghost of Tsushima, in my opinion, is **the combat**. The sword fights feel incredibly satisfying. You can't simply spam attacks. You need to block, parry, dodge, and use the correct stance against different types of enemies. Landing a perfect parry and immediately counterattacking feels amazing. You can also play more like the "Ghost" by using stealth, smoke bombs, kunai, bows, and other tools. This creates a nice balance between traditional samurai combat and more tactical gameplay. However, this is also where you can start to feel the game's age. After many hours, some of the fights and enemy types can become repetitive. The game introduces new abilities and stronger enemies to keep things interesting, but the basic combat formula doesn't change dramatically. ## Open World Tsushima is easily one of the most beautiful open worlds I've played. One of the smartest things about the game is that it doesn't constantly fill your screen with icons. You can follow the wind, animals, and other natural clues to discover interesting locations. This makes exploration feel much more natural than in many other open-world games. And there is simply so much to look at. Flowers, bamboo forests, snowy mountains, temples, lakes, and sunsets make almost every ride across the island worth taking. You constantly feel like stopping to take another screenshot. The downside is that some of the activities can start to feel repetitive after many hours. There is plenty to do, but not everything feels equally meaningful. ## Iki Island **Iki Island** is one of the biggest reasons to get the Director's Cut. The expansion gives Jin a completely new area to explore while going deeper into his past and his relationship with his father. It also introduces new enemies, activities, and gameplay elements. Iki Island doesn't feel like a completely new game, but it doesn't need to. It's more of what Ghost of Tsushima already does well, combined with a different atmosphere and a more personal story. ## Legends Director's Cut also includes **Legends**, the game's co-op multiplayer mode. It's a great bonus, especially if you have friends to play with. It almost feels like a separate game, with its own classes, missions, and gameplay systems. It isn't necessarily something you'd buy Ghost of Tsushima specifically for, but it makes the overall package much better. ## Graphics & PC Performance Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT still looks fantastic on PC. Nixxes has done an excellent job with the PC port, including features such as ultrawide support and modern upscaling technologies. That said, the original game was released in 2020, so you can occasionally see its age compared to newer AAA games. Some animations, environmental details, and technical aspects aren't quite at the level of the newest releases. But the incredible art direction makes up for a lot of that. It's a game that still looks beautiful because the world itself is designed so well. ## Music & Sound The music deserves a lot of praise as well. The soundtrack fits the atmosphere perfectly and makes the game's emotional and dramatic moments even more impactful. Combined with the sound of the wind, nature, and clashing swords, the game has a very distinctive atmosphere. ## The Negatives Ghost of Tsushima isn't perfect. Some side activities become repetitive, enemy variety could have been better, and the open-world formula can start to feel a little predictable after dozens of hours. The game also starts relatively slowly before it really opens up, so it can take some patience in the beginning. But none of these issues take away from how strong the overall experience is. ## Conclusion **Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT is an incredible open-world action game and one of the best samurai experiences you can play.** It has a strong story, fantastic combat, a beautiful world, an excellent soundtrack, and tons of content. The Director's Cut makes the package even better with Iki Island and Legends. It's not the most revolutionary open-world game ever made, and you can definitely notice some of the genre's usual problems. But Ghost of Tsushima takes familiar ideas and executes them extremely well. If you enjoy games like **The Witcher 3, Assassin's Creed, or Red Dead Redemption 2**, and you like the idea of a samurai setting, Ghost of Tsushima is absolutely worth playing. **My Rating: 9/10** **Pros:** * Fantastic combat * Beautiful open world * Strong main story * Amazing music and atmosphere * Great stealth mechanics * Iki Island is a fantastic expansion * Legends adds even more content * Excellent PC port **Cons:** * Can become repetitive * Some side activities feel similar * Enemy variety could be better * You can tell the original game is from 2020 **Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT isn't perfect — but it's damn close.**
