Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

17 hours before I completed the "main" path and I had SO much fun doing it. This is an AMAZING game, especially if you love tinkering and optimizing; however, even though it's hard, it can totally be played casually. My first "win" (wave 30) was entirely casual, I wasn't tryharding in the slightest. Game explains more than enough with a little hint of snark (which is deserved at times, honestly) and has lots of character.
I AM T H E GENOME GUARDIAN, YOU INSIGNIFICANT ♥♥♥♥!
Such an insanely fun game. The sheer amount of things to unlock and tweak your visuals, weapons, ship, bullets, background, music, is daunting in a good way xD

Extremely fun game, Highly recommend
10/10 Unlike most games with simple art styles, Genome Guardian is just perfect. Everything you would want in a game is in this one. It is fast-paced with infinite combo potential, can be replayed basically forever, has meaningful progression between runs, and actually has a story. I'm blown away, and the low price makes it all the more worth the buy.
Not only has a staggering amount of content (I'm only now reaching the "main" difficulty level after 20 hours and have many turrets, perks, and weapons not yet unlocked), but very clearly has a lot of attention to detail in the presentation, options, and general UX. Notably, this is the first game of this general type where I haven't yet felt the need to consult a wiki or messageboards or discord etc. to check how something works or what the effects of something are, as nearly everything is communicated very simply & clearly to the player so you can make well informed choices at each step.
Never thought that some random game I get in a bundle would end up being better than the game I initially wanted to purchase, but this game is not only better than that other game but also 90% of my library and with the sequel coming out in like 2 weeks I don't know if i should continue grinding this game or stock up on research in the demo for the sequel.
This game is great! Dev: microbes spawn off the left and right screen edges if you play shmup mode on a portrait screen, leading to hits from microbes you cant see.
Yes, you will buy this game. Yes, you will love this game. I have exactly zero complaints. All the problems I do have, come from my own lack of skill or game knowledge, and it's so obvious... That's the first time a game has been so black and white about what is your fault and what is going wrong because of bad game design. I haven't seen any bad game design so far. Also, the music in here is like crack. You guys should look into expanding the track list a bit, or maybe a feature to allow our own music to kind of sync up with the game? It's a real basic visual sync that goes off just peak beats vs trying to match the whole song.
fun game LOT OF STUFF to unlock and good replayablity
Brilliant one of these, play it
