very cute and charming open world puzzle game! a must for lizard lovers everywhere. it balances puzzles that are about fun platforming with actual thinkers. uses to its advantage that you can walk on literally any surface no matter the angle, which i enjoyed. finding the collectibles was very fun. i wish there were different color options, quite a few palettes and patterns were too similar to each other (ex. there's like 5 different blue palettes and only 2 green). i hate the magnetic balls with a burning passion

A beautiful little meditative experience.

Gecko Gods is quite a fun one. It's rare for me to bother with 100% games (well, not counting games where getting to 100% completion is part of the normal gameplay), but I had enough fun with the collection aspects that I decided to do with this one. Making a game where one of the base rules is "you can walk on any surface" is quite a tough concept, but it executes it quite well. I encountered minimal difficulty with the movement, and I only saw a single place where it looked like you could fall out of the world (which, frankly, is shocking with such complete environments and the movement style). The puzzles were good, and having gecko customization options is excellent. The music is quite good as well, and the environments look lovely. As for difficulty, I would describe the game as relatively easy, so it shouldn't be a problem if you're worried about difficulty.
