Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Cool overwatch system and the bosses were interesting, at least at first. However this game might have the worst pacing of any XCOM-like games I have played. Even Main mission are seemingly the same repeatable objective as the side missions. maybe 5 out of 30+ missions you will have to do to complete the game are unique.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Great game.
Fantastic X-Com-like. Of all the spinoff tactics games X-Com launched, this is by far one of the most interesting, polished, and feature robust. Enjoying it a lot. Regarding hardware, works fine for me. Have encountered zero issues at time of writing, but you may want to check your specs before picking it up because that's apparently not the norm.
The story has been intriguing and the game-play is very enjoyable. Optional mission objectives or restrictions give it that extra difficulty for those that are looking for a challenge. Equipment is versatile and customizable.
I found the mission objectives and play throughs very repeatative after the first 2-3 rounds of missions. The variety in objectives and tactics you could deploy was incredibly limited and not particularly exciting.
Gears Tactics, it is fine, its no XCOM but an ok tactical game in the genre if you like a Gears skin over it. Still satisfying to see the executions of a chainsaw cutting someone in half or a sniper shot explode a head but it gets a bit repetitive over time with lack of enemy variety. One thing I will give it is boss fights against giant enemies like the brumak and corpser from the Gears of war games gives some unique combats but there are 3 acts with a boss at the end of each...meaning this is a very rare occurrence of something interesting and new in-between the slog of fighting the same enemies for 6-8 missions until the end of an act. Pretty short, padded by forced repetitive side missions. Another case of steam needing a middle of the road option.
Yo
Xcom meets Gears i think that about sums it up.
Turn-based tactical Gears of War game is pretty neat.
