Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Latest in each market: best BR #90, worst UK #90 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4/day in the week to Aug 14 → 33.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

look what they've done to my you, my sweet boy once upon a time Gears of War actually meant something, now its's a remaster of a 10 year old remaster of a 19 year old game. a once 7gb game turned into a 80 gb game with worse graphics and still the same bugs you would see in the original release how much does a man need to do for a Marcus Fenix collection
Absolutely love the story of Gears 1. Ultimate Edition specifically is EXACTLY how you re-release and remaster a classic game. Reloaded, however, is exactly what NOT to do with a remaster. Took an amazing game, made a crappy, somehow graphically worse port, destroyed the audio and immersion, and effectively lost any remaining faith in The Coalition to recover the reputation of the modern Gears games. With E-Day coming out in the near future, I think myself and others looked forward to the PC port, but honestly it just left me more disappointed and confused on why they even bothered with this dogwater attempt at a remaster. That being said, any newcomers, the story is AMAZING. I'd just recommend playing the Ultimate Edition on console for a much better experience.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Bought on sale with the intention to play with the missus, like I did back in the day with my brother. Only to find out they removed split-screen co-op and no remote play together feature included. Either buy twice or refund to not bother... Enjoyed the game back in the day but gets my downvote for now.
This sucks, the split screen multiplayer co-op option is not included on the steam version, Not unlike it's console version.
I cant even play the game single player anymore after the patch because Easy Anti Cheat is the single worst "service" ever invented by mankind and decides it needs to stop my S I N G L E PLAYER CAMPAIGN from running due to #0000001A code every 5 minutes with zero modified game files. Can't refund either. Amazing. Nice scam.
Deserved better. The story campaign and gameplay itself is solid and fun. However this release has completely ruined the iconic gritty, rugged art style and colours of the original. Everything is super bright, too clean and at times even looks washed out. The environments to the character models are too bright, sunny and cartoony respectively. Environmental storytelling was such an intergral part of the original Gears of War. This remaster has completely destroyed the atmosphere of the original Gears of War. It doesn't feel like a half-destroyed world, where all that weathered, broken down, degraded environment & concrete dust of debris clouding the overcast skies, creating this dark oppressive atmosphere anymore. The textures might be higher in resolution but there is actually a lot of handcrafted intricate detail that actually has been lost from the original; from the environments to the battle-hardened, battle-damaged, bulkiness of character models and their armor, to the visual effects and lighting. These details have been greatly cleaned up and softened instead. Night time does not feel like night, everything is over-illuminated. Looking up to the sky feels like a cloudy afternoon when it should be pitch black with heavy rain. One of the levels is literally called "Downpour" and now it's just a light drizzle. The Kyrll have a less intimidating impact in the nightfall section with needing to create light to survive feels dramtically weaker and less intense because it no longer feels like a place without power and in almost pitch blackness. The spotlight sections and the Junker vehicle segment now also has lost it's strength in impact because there are extra electrical light sources turned on and the night sky is illuminated much brighter, so now you can see much further into the distance. Cutscenes have been redone and they are also for the worse removing the purposeful stylized look of many scenes from the original. Changing how cutscenes played out compared to the original for the worse by sanitizing scenes and shortening sequences. All of the creativty and soul has been removed, even more when considered the originals were done through in-game engine rather than pre-rendered. Just goes to show how much original effort and style has been lost. There was lot of intentional choice to how cutscenes were created and played out to tell a story in way to present and evoke a feeling and response now gone. In Reloaded, the section with the reveal of lambent Wretches synchronized with lighting strike is missed and played out of sync further shows the lack of care and other examples like the helicopter ride, to Hoffman's briefing, to the Berserker boss fight introduction; and the examples can keep going in this re-release. The game also has texture streaming issues with high resolution textures taking a long time to load in and being stuck with very low resolution textures until they load even on fast NVMe. The technical aspects of the graphics itself look sharp and there is some good addtional debris and objects to populate locations and certain parts do look good, showing what the visuals could have been if handled properly, it's just a shame it was not more in keeping with original art style and tone. The game was advertised to have splitscreen co-op and was still being advertised at release when the feature was missing before being removed any mention of it. To further add insult, the multiplayer has lag and playing online co-op causes the player that is not hosting the session to be subjected to intermittent lag every once a while ruining the experience and crucial moments especially when playing on harder difficulties. The singleplayer gameplay is still good and fun. The gameplay itself looks and feels the same as before but there is also a feeling of not everything is the same as before, in moving into cover movement feeling less fluid at times and shooting not hitting at the correct aim. The teammate AI is also certainly worse than the original. Teamate AI not helping in battles, standing in the way, getting stuck or running straight to their death and have to constantly call them back so they don't get themselves killed, leaving all the enemies to focus on you makes it unnecessarily harder on diffculties like Insane. Get this if interested to see the changes made to the original or if this is the first time with no other way to play the Xbox 360 release that is available on Xbox Gamepass or the original 2007 pc port. It is not nostalgia, your eyes are not deceiving you, the original 360 version and the 2007 pc port, despite some of that port's issues at the time of release are better than this version. They have fumbled the pc port of the same game three times in a row now. The story campaign is still great but this is a disappointing re-release remaster and should be purchased at a discount and if the original release isn't possible to play.
Massively overpriced while massively underperforming... Cash grab comes to mind.
Even if the game is a remaster. Gameplay wise it might be worse than the original. It feels very clunky and stiff. Story is great but after that if you're looking to play MP then I highly recommend passing it up for Gears 4 or 5 for a better MP experience. Edit: I played and enjoyed Gears Delta Online. If you have the patience then this mod is also a great alternative.
