***DO NOT BUY THIS ABANDONED GAME***
THIS GAME LAUNCHED ON OCT 12, 2023, WAS UPDATED UNTIL DEC 5, 2023, AND WAS OFFICIALLY ABANDONED BY PARADOX ON MARCH 27, 2024 WITH THE LAST UPDATE HAVING BEEN OVER 5 MONTHS BEFORE THE ACTUAL ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS GAME RECEIVED LESS THAN 7 WEEKS OF ACTIVE SUPPORT BEFORE GOING SILENT ON STEAM. This was really a terrible attempt at a 4X Star Trek game from a company I thought had this under wraps (Stellaris). This game almost felt like a parody, not even mustering licensed music to immerse you in the world. This ankle deep world. A soulless experience overall. It reminds me of when the Civilization series released Beyond Earth. Eugh. Or when Paradox released Imperator Rome... or when Paradox released Cities Skylines 2... or when Paradox released Victoria 3... oh jeez a pattern!? Shame on you, Paradox, for this disaster of a game. The launch was embarrassing, updates ceased within 7 weeks, and the game was officially announced dead less than 6 months after release. Guess I'll be busting out my old Birth of the Federation CD-ROM once again.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game is 70% finished and then they abandoned it. No more updates. Don't waste your money. People shouldn't be able to purchase it anymore. The only reason it's still up is so that Paradox can steal a few more unsuspecting people's money.
Game has been officially abandoned by the devs as per their post on the official Paradox forums. I only have a short playtime playing it because I kept running into bugs and I was waiting for them to polish it up a bit more. Now I've waited so long I can't get a refund from Steam and the game has been absolutely abandoned. I wish I'd never bought it. The Stellaris Star Trek mod is far superior to this and it's free.
Abandonware only a few months after release? By a major distributer? Shameful. Let us hope the modding community can help. However, do not buy this.
I'm a big fan of all things Star Trek and Stellaris. When this game came out in October 2023, it showed promise. Buggy, manageable promise, to then have it abandoned by the developer and published less than 6 months after launch (abandoned March 27th, 2024) is ridiculous with such a big IP. Don't buy this game. It's not finished and not worth the money for something that has no future.
It's embarrassing that this game is even still available for purchase
Possibly the most pointless game ever given the green light and released. It's basically a paid for Star Trek total conversion for Stellaris. Problem is, there are already two full, free Star Trek total conversions for Stellaris. Both of which are bigger, more detailed and generally make this look like a lazy knock-off. This is the very good reason it was abandoned almost immediately, it's not a bad game, it just comes a very distant third in Star Trek conversions for Stellaris and you have to pay for it, making it completely pointless. I gave it a shot on release hoping it would have some extra zing as it came from a paid dev company, but it's inferior in every way to the already existing mods. Tip for Paradox, Stellaris is a fantastic foundation, but try to find IPs to do this with that aren't already massively over served by existing community content. Stay away from Star Trek and Star Wars and maybe try titles that don't already have total conversions, like Warhammer, Mechwarrior, Halo etc.
I am sorry but I wish I could refund this game. Just use the mod from Stellaris on Star Trek it is better;
Abandoned. Play the Star Trek New Horizons mod for Stellaris instead.
Abandoned - this would have been great with a few updates and additions to the core gameplay. Back to Stellaris mods I guess.
