Visualmente es un juego que cumple mucho, el poder jugar un juego de hace casi 20 años con gráficas modernas le da un aire fresco. Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeero, no lo vale en lo absoluto por las constantes fallas del gameplay; no se esforzaron en lo absoluto para arreglar los problemas de jugabilidad que tenía en la versión de 360, solamente plancharon los nuevos gráficos y ya. Honestamente no creo que valga la pena solo por los gráficos, la versión Ultimate cumple con eso aún cuando tiene los mismos errores. Me hace pensar que solo necesitaban financiamiento para poder echarle todo a E-day, por que de plano no vale en lo absoluto la pena. Tuve muchos problemas durante el gameplay en donde el juego no ejecutaba las condiciones necesarias para poder avanzar, lo que provocaba quedarte atorado y forzosamente reiniciar el punto de control o el acto completo. NO LO VALE!!!

Très bon remaster du premier Gears of War ! Le jeu est bien optimisé, je n'ai vu aucun bug de mon coté. Le seul défaut du jeu est qu'il est ancien. Les environnements ne sont pas très diversifié et l'histoire se fini en 5H. J'ai acheté le jeu quand il était à 10 euros et je pense que c'est le bon prix pour cette nouvelle version qui nous refait découvrir le début de l'histoire !

Same game breaking bugs from over 20 years ago. Absolutely not worth it. This is a reskin, not a remaster.
Кусок старого кала. Тупые НПС, напарники, кривое управление, нет импакта от оружия, эпилептическая камера, сплошные скрипты по ходу прохождения игры, звук полные шлак (особенно от выстрелов). Последнего босса вы сможете убить ЕСЛИ сойдутся звезды, встанете с утра с той ноги, найдете четырехлистный клевер, бомж у падика пожелает вам всего наилучшего и босс забагует-затупит. Поберегите нервы и деньги. Играл на максимальной сложности. Не слушайте этих ностальгирующих скуфов из эпохи ИксБикс 360,что игра шедевр. На данный момент это мусор из мезозоя. Купите лучше пивка, пацаны, и посмотрите кино.
Не рекомендую. Игра вылетает при попытке подключения к серверам Gears of War.
Not a good remaster of a remaster. Yea textures have been updated and it runs fine on modern/last gen hardware but the shadows are nonexistent for a lot of terrain so a rundown decaying room with bright furniture just sticks out like a sore thumb. Looking back at original release lighting at its like they cranked the brightness up to the max and called it a day, no more grim dark Cera to traverse through. The game is also fairly buggy, encountering more as you progress the campaign. AI is jank with squadmates running back and forth, running to the other end of the combat area and getting downed, locust vaulting over cover while i'm shooting them etc. Hitboxes are a little wrong but thats not really the end of the world. Honestly something that made the game unplayable was trying to close the distance and chainsaw a poor grunt and THE MELEE BUTTON IS UNRESPONSIVE AND IT GETS ME KILLED. THE ICONIC LANCER CANNOT CHAINSAW UNLESS IN IDEAL CONDITIONS. Supposedly the multiplayer is dead and i found out that even the public matchmaking for coop campaign is gone. The sound design/audio mixing is also bad, the loudest thing youre gonna hear in this game is footsteps and MAN are they bassy, I compared the troikas from the original pc release and its missing the punch that a mounted machine gun should have to the point where it just sounds like coins dropping (or ig shell casings).
С оптимизацией особых проблем нет, а вот со всем остальным есть... Я очень сильно обрадовался узнав о том, что будет переиздание, но не ожидал, что "Майки" так пренебрежительно отнесутся к своему наследию... Искусственный интеллект сломали как у врагов, так и у напарников! Все идут на пролом полностью игнорируя укрытия! Твои напарники сказали: Маркус, нам сюда! После этой фразы все трое смотрят на стену вначале локации и тебе самому приходится искать, это "сюда"! Я бы принял игру с распростертыми объятиями и с не очень хорошей графикой (с еще мыльнее, чем в этом ремастере), но с ломаным кодом, нет! Тупые напарники и противники разрушают атмосферу погружения в игру! И создают ощущение погружения в кучу го..а! Особенно когда твои напарники разговаривают с закрытым ртом и в это время как-то хаотично перемещаются по комнате! Как рыбки в аквариуме! На всякий случай отменю предзаказ на "День Е"!
I love the game. Campaign is amazing but I post a negative review here because the game is broken on a 5080. Textures load very slowly and the game constantly stutters. It's barely playable. If you switch textures to low... then you get x2 the fps and 0 stutters but the game got worse textures then than it did on a 360.
