Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3/day in the week to Jul 30 → 33.14/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I had never played a *Gears* game before, and neither had my partner, so *Gears 5* was our first experience with the series. We honestly found the opening two episodes rather "boring", and the lengthy tutorial didn’t exactly help. However, once we got past that initial hurdle, the game became considerably more enjoyable. The exploration sections were a pleasant surprise, and the campaign kept getting better as we progressed. We didn’t experience any crashes or noticeable frame-rate issues throughout our playthrough. There was only one instance where we had to restart a scene in an optional exploration area because an event glitched, but otherwise the game ran remarkably well. The final levels in particular were spectacular and made the journey feel worthwhile. We didn’t try the PvP or PvE modes, so this review is entirely based on the campaign. And honestly, the campaign alone was enough to give us a great time. It’s not quite a masterpiece —the writing can be weak at times, and some of the characters introduced early on can be irritating— but the excellent "art direction", impressive environments, and sheer scale of the later sections make up for a lot of those shortcomings. Most importantly, being able to experience the entire campaign together with a partner makes *Gears 5* much more enjoyable. We started the game feeling pretty bored, but by the end we were genuinely having a great time. For us, that says a lot: despite its flaws, *Gears 5* turned into a surprisingly fun co-op adventure and a very worthwhile first introduction to the series. The second DLC campaign was the opposite: it started off really well, and just when you felt the best part was about to happen, it ended. Far too short! It’s not a perfect game, but it’s not a bad one either; it’s worth buying on sale to play through once with a friend.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

its a good game, the campaign is 7/10 at best due to leftist political undertones but the gameplay is fun and it has cool moments towards the end. multiplayer is fun but relatively unbalanced if you want to take it seriously there is also no real ranked system. garbage microtransaction system and store, bad customization and almost no progression. only buy if u are a fan of the series, DO NOT buy as a first gears of war game.
No me deja iniciar sesión en mi cuenta de microslop por lo que ahora ni jugarlo puedo
DLC太爽了!
play 3 i didnt want to krill myself after and it has beastmode
not bad its a good game not a gears game tho

Good game, the final boss looks great but the fight itself is underwealming.
