Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Just got decent so far graphics nice.playing on oculus is weird. Weapons dont fit with controller making this game almost unplayable. Example the mace is held coming out like a gun aswell as sword. Shield is nice. All weapons come out like a pointer level.3 out 5 as of now fix the noted problems. 4
Good immersive hack and slash with beautiful presentation and some glaring issues. "Gates of Nowhere" tends to attract what is in my opinion bit unjust number of negativity in reviews. There are numerous issues I will point below but I'd say it really works as immersive (linear) dungeon hack and slash horror crawler. With well done breakable weapons/shields. The presentation is flawless on the graphics side, the created dungeons are among the best VR underground sceneries I have seen. Be it narrow torches lit corridors, dark halls or oddly shaped tunnels with water dripping from some source above -this all works very well and doesn't feel like yet another store assets game (we've all seen the same dungeons/enemies models through many a games now, didn't we?). The combat becomes very hard as the games progresses to the point that ending of level 2 caused me to throw controllers in disgust. Also the weapons/spells controls are a bit cumbersome, especially in the heat of combat, but are not that big of an issue. Story? There is some bare minimal one I think, paid no attention, sorry! There are large (linear) levels to explore -and those nicely vary in gameplay. There might be moments of intense combat interviened with more scary (like, whole level 2... ohh my how well the tension was played in there. No, it was not the spooky moment. No not even now. Ha! Still not now. Maybe now? No... wait for it... oh how the f about now then?! Let me say my heart skipped a beat there...) traps avoiding through very spooky lone patch among darkness. There are big issues with "Gates of Nowhere", however. The weapons collisions with environment/other objects? Very not existing. Especially with scenery. Something what would be ok-ish in 2013 maybe but in times of games like Blade and Sorcery or Tales of Glory starts to be big issue. Another issue that developers apparently are unwilling to admit there is a problem with -is the very lack of interactions sounds. Smash your axe into wall, your own shield held in other hand, or a chain changing from ceiling -nothing, nada. Plus the non-existing collisions. Sometimes you can walk through 9 ft tall creature. Those really break the immersion that beautiful graphics and environmental ambient sounds create. And I will wave off the developers reasons not to fix this big breaker (performance impact issues with physics calculations and sounds triggering) as rather poor excuse. Those are things that if done well make games shine above the rest. As for combat, again, it's hit and miss. With blood. Once you get the hang of it and know how to time your attacks and blocks, going against several enemies at once is survivable. Use shields, those are your biggest adventage. Some shields serve also as blades, play with this fact to gain upper hand. Then pick up what enemies drop, sometimes your inventory wears off quickly. Or f it and use two weapons in both hands, maniac style, that creates quite a punch. Overall, the engagements let you choose your preferred method. Especially when you deal with the same group of enemies for the 5th time. Yes, you will die alot in this game. Spells help though ;) But there are times when nothing makes sense, swords bounce off air or go through enemies without effect. But when you time your strike well and enemy arm or head detaches into air ...then it is a good, good moment. Very nice animations of creatures help alot. Overall this games is hard. Dark Souls VR as people call it, can't verify, stayed away from DS series due to it's infamous difficulty level. This all aside as this review grew larger than I intended, do I recommend "Gates of Nowhere"? Heck yeah! If you like the Arx Fatalises, the Dark Messiashes of the 2d era and want to relive smaller bits of those in VR -then you shall find it here. Be warned of the issues I mentioned, pay less attention to those and you will enjoy the dark and gloomy patch in front of you. Just wear diaper during "Throught the Darkness" (you have been warned)

Just finished this great game, great last battle. Please make more content great stuff Using touch and oculus with no problems Should you buy it? The game is excellent value for what you get. As others have said the graphic, especially the enemies, are really really good. The game runs smoothly on my 6700k 980ti system with different movement settings that work really well with no sickness. The game can be challening at timesd and exciting, it makes you want to stay on until you have finished the gamn. So yes buy it! Is the game perfect? No...there are some glitches here and there and i have contacted the Devs on some and they fixed the issues and provided a new update within 3hrs of reading my post! which great :-). Sometimes the AI of the enemies gets confused which results in them getting stuck which makes it feel like you are cheating when u can just stand them and kill them, this tends to happen to big enemies and the big dragon (looks really impressive) stopped fighting back making it a long but easy kill. I like collecting ingrdients for spell making and making the spells but have only needed to start using them in chapterIV, they are not easy to select in the heat of battle and you will die by the time you have, this could be improved to make them easier to select quickly so you can use them more effectively Great game with a few issues but is definitely worth buying! Devs please keep on with the improvements and content and in doing so increasing the price would be more than justified.
This is one of the best looking VR games out there. The feeling of being inside a dungeon is awesome. Sound effects are good. The title screen music is hypnotic, I can stay at that screen for several minutes just watching the dungeon entrance and enjoying the beautiful song (wish it wasn't so short!). Combat is Ok. No problem whatsoever with motion sickness. Some say locomotion is slow, I think it's adecuate for this game (you don't have vast lands, it's not Skyrim!). A few cons: * I don't like jump scares in this kind of game, leave those to dedicated horror games, I think of this game more like an adventure/RPG, the atmosphere is already creepy and that's enough to keep you alert, but that's just my opinion. (I know, I know... I read the description ;) * I find the little floating spheres in the title screen distracting, I would remove them; however, water dripping is excellent for immersion. * Inventory management is not bad, but it could be polished, it feels clumsy to change weapons during combat. * I agree with other reviewers that weapons/items should collide with ALL objects (doors, cell bars, tables, walls, etc.) and not just pass through them. * There's a spelling mistake in the spell book: Sulur instead of Sulfur. Those cons are minor compared to the "enjoyability" of this game, I hope the devs expand this one and later make a follow up with outdoor exploration. Games like this are like a stepping stone for VR gaming. Don't hesitate and grab this one, totally recommend it!
Игра понравилась. Хорошая графика и атмосфера. Порадовала расчленёнка. Из минусов неудобное управление.
I like this game sword fighting games are not usually my type of game. The graphics are nice I would like it better if you had arms not just hands then no hands when holding shield or weapon. It would also be better if all solid objects were solid if you hit some objects sword just passes right through. Overall i liked the game so far and will play again i look forward to trying out more games from this publisher.
Somit unspielbar.
This game has no smooth turning. That is bad. But the game is great. A wired headset would not be a good experience. But with a Quest 2 and Airlink I can just turn around in real life. This is a legit hardcore dungeon crawler. They are not playing around with the difficulty. It is scary and violent. And mysterious. The enemies and environments look fantastic and the swordplay is good. How you hold the sword and shield is very strange but you can adapt quickly. The game is the very essence of Dungeons and Dragons.
