Unfortunately I cannot recommend the game for now. I really love this game and wish it would be easy to balance but being assymetric makes it a nightmare. The game had a few quirks that needed fixing before the airborne update but they were slowly being fixed. After the airborne update, wardens got a torpedo bomber which they didn't really need having a strong navy already. Colonials got a dive bomber boosting their capacity both at sea and on the ground making taking for wardens difficult but manageable. The next two patch following a review bombing by the colonials, and threats to live, forced the Devs to boost the colonials who didn't need it. Their tanks got buffed without increasing in cost and they received a new plane when wardens got bigger doors. If you want to have fun play colonial. The Devs are doing everything to please that faction when they didn't need to. The colonials won pretty easily the last two wars. Adding anti-air, reworking the tech tree and the merger of the two servers would have been enough to bring some balance back. Unfortunately, the Devs had to "fix" the tanks who didn't need fixing. The warden anti-tank push gun has lower accurate range than colonial tanks whereas the colonial anti-tank push gun has more accurate range than most warden tanks. Hopefully the Devs revert some of the changes and actually fix the real issues.

I have been playing this game for about a year now. I really love this game and the people I have met are all incredibly friendly. The game can be tedious at times but I guess thats part of the charm. The biggest problem I have is not with the game but by how it has been treated by the devs. Every war I have been in played out the same. Either the devs made changes that broke the balance of the game or they ignored the cheating that runs rampant. First war: had lots of fun until I fought in battles where people were clearly using wall/visionhacks to snipe me in the dark or through bunker pieces. second war: Had fun again but the devs decided bunkers needed changing -> everyone bailed on the war and my side lost which made me feel sad. third war: Again met with cheaters using wallhacks. Alts left the door to our base open which lead to the enemy destroying and stealing the tanks we worked weeks on. Fourth: War big airborne update which was clearly not ready for release. Had fun until everyone collectively decided the update was bad. Another war lost. Fifth war: again met with cheaters and a very annoying online discussion whos weapons are better and that the balance is unfair. (it kinda is in some places) Sixth war (current one): Again cheaters have been running rampant. They have been caught with their pants down in 4k and the devs have done nothing to respond to this issue. The ony thing they did make clear is that it's not THEIR problem to police THEIR game. I am furious because I once again feel like I am on the losing side of the war. Not losing in the sense that the other side is better than ours. It's because one side cheated hard (Again in full view for the whole internet to see) and people on my side left because of it. I am fuming while I write this review because I can't change the course of the war fairly and it's just a matter of who cheats hardest.
this game sucks for alot of reasons but i play it for a reason
Разраб не умеет в баланс. Зато умеет в блат одной фракции. Нерфаните кстати варденов, сделайте им в 2 раза меньше хп ради "ассиметрии".
If you want to play this game just do it and dont bother looking on reddit. Its just salty vets over there who suck the fun out of it.
Production of Vehicles for collie is very unbalanced and the collie heavy bomber can use a glitch to turn super sharp.
Ok, look. I love this game. This game is the exact niche I have wanted for all my life. I will keep playing this game. But in its current state, I just cannot recommend it. Here are the reasons why:
General Cost of Logistics
Ok, this is one of the biggest issues the game has, and its roots extend to other larger issues. The cost of most things are literally colossal. Bigger ships usually needs upwards of 2k+ rare metal, and that is basically the GDP of three USAs in this game. And the cost, the peril to create the facilities REQUIRED to even build the ship in the first place is gigantic. First, you need a scrap mine. Go to an unoccupied scrap mine, if there is one, and build a factory. Which needs something called "Maintence supplies". This is the dealbreaker for most factories in this game. See, factories deplete these stuff by the very second. So if you wanna even create the most basic thing required for your dream fleet, you have to be logged in every day. To create ONE Naval Hull Segment, you need: PMat(processed materials)V, PMat IV, a copious number of all of these, a large assembly station that needs, you guessed it, rare metal to build, a bunch of hours-and also, this is a war game, so expect to get attacked by partisans- to even assemble, and congragulations, you have acquired one naval hull segment. OF MORE THAN TWENTY. This is IMPOSSIBLE for a single player to do. Which causes the issue I have been building up to:
The Clan Man.
Most clans in this game, suck. Literally. There is at least 10 clans on every hex. Some large, some small, some in between. Clans dont hesitate to exploit solo players. And when they have an admin on their side? Youre as good as done. Also, they CONSTANTLY fight eachother over resource fields, the most finite thing in this game. Clans pull resources to themselves for operations that will never happen, reserve stockpiles that they will never use, and constantly claim public plots of land to themselves! I got tked becuase I was "tresspassing" on their "private facility" which had no disclaimer at the first place, and was right in the middle of our industrial capital! Of course, this is caused by a bigger design issue: the communication system of this game sucks. You cannot get ANYTHING done with this god awful VC system that doesnt work half the time. This is one of the greatest issues of this game and the devs know it.
the Time of Building versus the Time of Destroying.
Ok, this feature is just sad. Facilities take days and sometimes weeks to build. But the things required to destroy them are basically mass produced. a bunch of mammons which took maybe an hour to manufacture en masse can completely destroy what took the souls of the builders to create. A single bomber can waddle its way over, bomb a facility to smithereens, and slither out just as fast with almost no risk for itself. Verdict: needs huge amounts of fixing, currently a 6/10.
