I'm so glad that I stumbled across this game, and I'm not sure how it went under my radar since it ticks so many boxes for the types of games I enjoy. It managed to recreate that magical feeling I had playing the original Zelda for NES when I was a kid, and played similarly with its top-down perspective and sprawling map. The world was a joy to explore and there were many surprising ways that it interconnected and allowed for teleporting if you took the time to uncover every nook and cranny. Adding so many Dark Souls elements, including the bonfire-style respawn with fountains, the player-created message system that could range from tips to trolls to outright poetry, and the tools and equipment you could find really enhanced the experience. I do enjoy the Metroidvania style map where you can mark things yourself, which was essential since the game doesn't mark anything for you - NPCs, shops, dungeons, caves, treasure, teleports, etc. I do feel like the difficulty isn't balanced though, and that's probably the only reason this game isn't getting the praise that it deserves. I managed to defeat all of the bosses and complete the game, but the last three in particular took perseverance and felt more frustrating than enjoyable at times. While the difficulty is part of the design and I want a game like this to be a challenge, a few aspects felt unfair. Things like the boss moving and attacking from offscreen, projectiles not being blocked how you'd expect from the environment, dying in three hits with the best gear, and never getting an amount of mana from enemies that felt right even with optimum equipment. But that last bit can be mitigated with consumables, and the rest with extreme patience when it finally clicks and you understand how to do it. Despite that frustration, this is one of the best gaming experiences I've had in a long time and the developer has a real gem on their hands here.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 23 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

At first, the visuals may seem a bit too simple, but don't let that fool you. The game actually has a really nice art style and aesthetic. Believe it or not, it's a Souls-like, and the animations are top-tier. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Plus, it has Brazilian Portuguese support.
cool game, would love to have it ported to android
Great game. I don't play games to get punished, so the added difficulty settings for those that want a more forgiving experience was welcomed. As soon as I started playing the game on chill difficulty, I began to enjoy my experience a lot more. The combat feels satisfying, the exploration is rewarding, and there’s a good sense of progression as you get stronger. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere and overall presentation of the game. Overall, a really enjoyable game and one I'd recommend to anyone who likes Souls-likes but wants something a little more accessible.

Quite a fun puzzle-platformer souls like, good art, fairly challenging, very stylized world building. Quite a lot of interesting items to find that change gameplay over time.
A great take on the metroidvania + souls-like games. I haven't played any souls-like games like this but this game did a good first impression. My only complain so far is that it took me way too long to find the first couple of bosses (simply because i avoided a fight that leads to the boss area, which i wasn't properly hinted was there) when i was early on in the game and circled the map for an hour or so and had to open a tutorial to find it (which might be a me problem since i don't even remember seeing the path). Overall i quite enjoyed my experience with a gamepad but it also looked promising with mouse and keyboard but i didn't really give that a shot. PS: this game manages to accomplish something i feel like is happening too often for me, usually i might quit because of one dumb thing like an overpowered boss which you need to progress more for where i get stuck in a loop
A true hidden gem that deserves more attention. Loved the retro graphics and gameplay that was reminiscent of Hyperlight Drifter with a nice soulsvania twist. It is challenging, but very doable with practice and exploring all the different biomes kept me engrossed to the very end. Definitely recommend for anyone who has an interest in these types of games and very excited for the upcoming dlc!
