About
FOUNDRY is a first-person (first-robot?) factory builder with complete creative freedom set in a procedurally generated and infinite voxel world.
Land on an unexplored planet and design a giant automated robot production facility under the watchful direction of your AI friend, Carl. Navigate the complexities of interstellar trade and sell your products through interplanetary trade networks to reach your final goal: galactic industrial domination.

Progress from manual resource extraction to a fully automated and perfectly optimized factory.
Construct towering machinery and snaking networks of conveyor belts and pipes with no limits on where you build.
Explore a vibrant voxel world and sculpt the landscape block by block.
Research new, more advanced technologies to meet the demands of your ever-growing production lines.
Personalize your creation by unlocking decorative items and new color options.
Maintain a complex power system to keep your factory running at top speed.
Work solo or recruit outside contractors in online or LAN co-op multiplayer.
Create an enormous factory complex stretching from deep underground to the planet’s surface and the skies above.

Create a mechanically magnificent factory and a work of industrial art integrating your creation into the environment around you. Set up your machines far below the surface, high in the sky and everywhere in between. Grid-based construction gives you precise control over where and what you build.
Land on an unexplored planet and explore a procedurally generated sandbox. Journey through dense jungles, gigantic mountain ranges, and great plains stretching into the horizon, with even more to discover beneath the surface.

Design intricate systems of conveyor belts, long-distance transport networks, pipes and elevators from deep underground to automate your research. Unlock more advanced, complex and faster technology to optimize your factory and maximize production.
You’ll start by crafting items and harvesting resources manually but will soon find yourself setting up assembly lines piece by piece to devise a system that flows perfectly. Combine form, fit and function to create a smooth setup that effortlessly transforms raw materials into galaxy-grade robot products without you lifting a metallic finger.

Bottlenecks are your enemies. Remember to maintain a delicate balance between inputs and outputs so that productivity reaches its maximum potential, enabling you to progress through an extensive research tree.
Ensure that manufacturing runs at full speed. Keep your power supply well-fed and, as your factory expands, unlock upgraded machinery, advanced power generators and new customization options that will add efficiency and a splash of color to your production lines.
Work solo or collaborate in co-op and engineer creative solutions to complex logistical challenges in a vast voxel world.

I love the game, I play it 5-7 days a week. You feel accomplished making an efficient factory and I cant wait to get better at terraforming and decorating. I also like that the Devs are involved with the community.
传送带连接太麻烦了,就非得弄个装载器吗?

not bad. not good. it's just sort of there. nothing really stands out about this. It's sort of Satisfactory but the environment is voxel and destructible... but why? If your going to make something like any one of the big granddaddy factory games (Satisfactory, Factorio, Dyson Sphere) you need to do something in it to really set it apart. so my suggestion is to try and play to your strengths or something. If you (the developer) want Minecraft then you might need to lean into the survival aspect of it. Maybe make the player grow a farm or something while we wait an astronomically long time for the science packs to generate and move the questline forward. Maybe give us a reason to explore. There isn't any reason to right now. I sort of regret the purchase - even if I got it on sale, it just isn't worth the price right now. Maybe they plan to add in stuff in the future that might make it interesting but I'd hold off until it gets to that point to justify a purchase like this.
ehhh the whole point of the game is to build stuff and the building dynamics make it really difficult. it would be a cool game if it wasn't absolutely tedious to build stuff
I've been having a great time with Foundry. At first, I expected just another factory game, but it actually has a lot of its own ideas: managing a space station, selling products manufactured in your factory, building assembly lines for robots, and, of course, mining. Never before have I had to plan a mine to be efficient, functional and visually satisfying. Those features make the game feel fresh instead of being just another Factorio clone. If you're into factory-building games, this one is definitely worth checking out.
Fantastic factory builder, allows you to turn your factory into a space empire. i love the market aspect and the galactic conquest.
Не люблю всякие Factorio и Satisfactory но почему то в Foundry залип. На пиратке развился до максимума полгода назад, тут решил отблагодарить разработчика, игра 10 из 10 имхо
If you like Factorio and want to try a 3D approach to the same general loop, without the biters, then this is for you. I was personally hoping for something more unique but the way this games progression feels is almost entirely factorio's. I dropped the game at 22 hours, not because I don't like it, but because I feel like I have played it before but this is an inferior version. Some of the crafting recipes need work, and I was not a fan of the map generation. I searched for over an hour for a second ore patch and couldn't find one except those below a certain Y level that I could not mine to. It needs some work still, excited to see how 1.0 goes.
I tried it free for a weekend. The best way to describe it is a bad mix between Minecraft, Satisfactory and a space game probably, if the rest of the research tree is true. Takes the elements of each and doesn't quite implement them in a constructive way. I saw no reason to play this over Satisfactory or heavily modded minecraft. Not worth my time even when free. VERY Clunky controls and movement and unintuitive... everything really. Movement, inventory control, research scrolling, you name it. It's better than some of the other things out there and I'd play it if there weren't already a lot of better games than this, it's not trash, just not good enough than the other games in its genre
I've started really enjoying the game more since update 3. It's not a user friendly as Satisfactory and there's no blueprints, but I like that you're building up to build a Galactic business. I think in many ways the whole "you're building because you're a corporate slave" idea is getting a little overused. There's really no competition so you're building a factory to build products for a market that doesn't change so you won't need to redesign your factory from time to time, but it's still fun to watch your empire expand as time goes on. While there are no blueprints, the game does make it easy to copy and paste buildings, though I do wish it included the inserters in the copy because it's annoying to add them to each building (especially when you need 6). So, once you're done with Factorio, Dyson Sphere Project and Satisfactory, give this one a try!
