Foundation is a grid-less, laidback medieval city-building game with a focus on organic development, monument construction and resource management.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Pretty much my favourite "city" builder on Steam. I love that the maps are randomly generated each time and that topographically they feel unique. It feels like your settlement is growing organically out of and around the landscape. I'd like to see more variation - more things to react to. Especially when those decisions are tied to the landscape. Not every map should deliver equal opportunity, and those restrictions will deliver vastly different settlements. More please!
Play at your own risk. No joke - game has serious problem with hard-locking the computer. Have to manually reboot. Can't say I'm happy with how this may be affecting my old 'puter. That said, good game. Lots of detail and the progressions are logical.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Wer ein chilliges Siedler sucht ist hier genau richtig! ♥ Gaaanz entspannte Aubau-Simulation mit Fokus auf Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft.
PEAK building game. Hard to get bored when you can literally make any castle and city in any shape, the no grind design is what makes this game PEAK.
i really like how this game looks, but it keeps crashig before i even start playing it :( ive had to restart four times without even getting past the terrain/game settings and i dot know how to fix it
It’s a good game with a customization tool that is fantastic. Key buildings can be set up exactly as needed. Unfortunately, the game suffers from several other broken systems. Road maintenance, guard routes, and resource movement are all systems that need rework. Unfortunately, these systems feed directly into the quality and density of houses as well as villager need, meaning if one fails spectacularly it can kill the whole town. Overall a fun game with lots of potential.
great cozy city builder :)
Esta muy entretenido, graficos bonitos aunque simples, pero tiene una dificultad aceptable.
It's very pretty and innitialy addictive, however I was expecting a relaxing 'laidback' city building game. Then it turns into the same old stressing over resource management, balancing upkeep costs, worrying about pathing distances and annoying repeated villager can't reach destination warnings when building stuff too compact. Sure you can play with infinite money but I'm worried that breaks all progression. I simply don't want to run into the red for building a stone mason or bakery or have more than a single room church / manor at the start. Add the frustration of having workers assigned and they're all on free time or doing something else while the next part in line is picking their noses waiting for resources. Lot of micro managing, pausing buildings, firing / rehiring people to manage early upkeep. Not relaxing. I've only tried 2 maps, about 5 hours each so far but get annoyed at how messy it gets. Just want to delete my town again already. I'll give it another chance with infinite money, the upkeep seems to be causing the most stress while resources throttle progression as well. Second time I tried with all territory unlocked from the start but that messes other things up. Update: With infinite money rather than trying to reduce upkeep (by unlocking all territory at the start) the game clicks with me. Progression is still intact while vastly reducing the stress from micro managing. Removing capitalism makes it a better game for me :) 3rd try's the charm. (Also recommend starting on a map with few cliffs)
