Foundation is a grid-less, laidback medieval city-building game with a focus on organic development, monument construction and resource management.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Good game.

If the developers continue finessing with the game's algorithm and enhancing the base-game experience before any major paid? DLCs, I think we should be fine. Hopefully, the hope remains that the game will keep improving and working better, let's hope.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.5/day in the week to Jul 21 → 4.2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Absolutely and utterly delightful! The no-collision building system places this game in a league of its own and allows for flexibility and creativity that, after 50 hours, I'm still only beginning to unlock. The systems are just complex enough to satisfy a hardcore city builder enthusiast, but simple enough to appeal to more casual fans of the genre. I do wish there was more end-game content, but that may come in the form of sheer size, seeing as the playable map areas are actually quite huge and I haven't even gotten close to filling out 50% of any map I've played. I'm thrilled that this game is getting two DLCs this year and I sincerely hope there's more to come. Because I believe Foundation has earned its place as a fantastic entry in this genre.
Great game if you love resource management and building a huge settlement with lots of control for layout. Highly recommend giving it a try. After 410+ hrs in the game I still keep coming back.
Love the organic city development of this medieval city builder and it's relaxing vibe.
Lovely and chill game.
Отличная расслабляющая игра с хорошей музыкой

This is by far one of the best of the genre. A fresh approach to look and feel. Requires critical thinking and proper planning to succeed. The most difficult aspect is land use. How to get the most out of what land is available. How to grow without running out of usable lands. That, and the supply chain aspects. Keeping the shops supplied and functional is a challenge. Promoted villagers can get tricky. If they are not happy with their homes, they will leave. So, pay attention to those houses for officials and make them cozy and look nice. Sometimes you have to kick someone out of a home so the promoted villagers can have it. Better to lose a peasant than a master baker! Game gets a 10/10
