About

Utilise weapons, armour, abilities, alchemy ingredients, traps and anything else you can lay your hands on within an entirely classless character progression system.
Whether you want to be a nimble-footed archer flinging fireballs between arrows or face your foes, toe to toe as an axe-wielding whirlwind of death; the choice is yours.

The Vale of Vahrin is beset by threats from both within and without, the perfect place for a mercenary in search of their next contract.
Rival mercenaries, bandits, monstrous beasts and even hideous creatures infest the Vale of Vahrin, ready and waiting for their bounties to be claimed.
Master intense real-time action combat and adapt to every challenge, ensuring that no enemy, no matter how powerful, can stand in your way.

Aid the survivors in their personal tales of grief, love and even humour, as they fight back against the overwhelming odds facing Vahrin.
Traverse a world steeped in beauty and mystery, from overgrown city streets to magical caverns and murky bogs, each hand-crafted to test your resolve.
Scour every corner; leaving no stone unturned in your quest to discover hidden treasures, unravel lost mysteries, and claim the spoils of Vahrin for your own.

The city of Vahrin found itself overwhelmed by a swarm of the grotesque, insect-like creatures known as khraiax.
In response, many of the Free Cities, united under the banner of the Combined Order, sent their armies to confront this terrible threat.
But victory was not to be theirs, for while the khraiax stood little chance against the might of the combined forces, a far greater danger rose from beneath the city’s streets.
Vahrin’s king lies dead, along with thousands of soldiers who marched to the city’s aid. Now only its most stalwart defenders remain, desperately fighting to reclaim their beloved home.

Vahrin’s Call stands as its own complete tale, yet it forms just one part of a sweeping epic narrative that spans nations and continents.
What begins as smaller, isolated struggles becomes part of a greater saga, where every character’s trial, every kingdom’s war, and every act of courage or betrayal weaves the tapestry of the unfolding story throughout the world.

A great game with a rocky launch.
I enjoyed this game, it has a somewhat grim worldbuilding yet leaves a place to some jokes here and there Also, was a pleasant surprise to not encounter any bugs outside of a few minor texture issues, beside this - the game feels really polished Definitely gave me a sense of nostalgia as well, it was a good adventure
Addictive exploration that provides practical and dramatic gameplay rewards and surpisingly top-tier voice acting from top to bottom. It's rough around the edges but a spectacular effort from such a small team and more charm and minute to minute fun than most AAA RPGs.

These developers are out of their minds. You can rebind all keys but movement keys? Instant refund. No excuse for this garbage.
The game is bland. There's not much to gravitate to. Rather play the Gothic Remake
If you are looking for an atmospheric fantasy rpg with really fun progression systems and a focus on exploration and real time combat, you should absolutely check out this little uncut gem. The good: +Fun real time combat with lots of options to play your way +Classless progression with usage-based skill leveling similar to elder scrolls +Very atmospheric Ruined Citystate vibes, reminded me of a more colorful demons souls at times +Great level design, its zone based with lots of connections between the zones and shortcuts, alternate paths and hidden nooks all around the maps The not-so-good: -There aren‘t that many memorable characters or story moments, exploration and leveling are the star of the show -There are very few npcs and those that are there are mostly static, which makes the populated areas feel a bit lifeless -The presentation, apart from the artstyle, is a bit rough around the edges. Perfectly fine for an indie game, but temper your expectations. I had a great time with it and thoroughly recommend it if you can overlook or even enjoy some jank and enjoy exploration based action rpgs.
I haven't played a whole lot yet, but I can say that I am glad I bought this game and didn't choose to refund it. It is very janky and does need a lot of polish. The AI is terrible even on the higher difficulty settings, the animations are very choppy and not super responsive, and it drives me nuts that I have to focus perfectly on a bag or item to pick it up. But I love games like Fable, Gothic, and other less than perfect but still very enjoyable RPGs. This one scratches that itch. The world, exploration, and progression aspects are fantastic, and make up for all of its flaws in my opinion. I completely understand the concern about the price of this game. I think it should have been priced at 25.00 or less with the amount of polish it needs, but for me personally, I was happy to pay the asking price to support a dev team making this kind of RPG that I feel like has been thrown to the wayside in recent years. We need more games like this, and so I will vote with my dollars and support the team as they take in the feedback and make this game even better.
Edit - one of the best things is that attacking and running do NOT use stamina. Playing with a female character; my first greeting i get called big ears, called a heavy foated oaf. Every fast travel has an owl-like creature with tusks, very nice design, want to name and draw him. ~~~~ The game isn't your perfect 2026 with 2026 standards of graphics so people dislike that. They replaced the words of female/male to feminine and masculine and some men hate that. You fight a female human boss and people hate that. The game reminds me of the rpgs i've played throughout the early 2000s, reminds me of skyrim. Most bosses have been monsters or males, not sure why there are...alot of people getting mad over fighting female human bosses. There are plenty of side quests where you are helping out men, helping fathers, help a dying man seek revenge on his cheating wife. There is so much to explore, so much to see. You can keybind easily and enable quest markers to show. Alot of redheads/gingers in this game, as a fellow redhead, it's a nice change to see. The voice acting and the music is beautiful. Game runs fine, can quicksave at any moment, there is no performence issues on my end, there is fast travel, loot everything and turn it all into crafting mats. Combat is simple yet fun, you take your time in every battle, every weapon and armour has it's own exp level to which your skill points can go into each to make yourself stronger.
Until there is no 32:9 support big NO.
I'm having fun playing this game. Not much more to say.
