About

Utilise weapons, armour, abilities, alchemy ingredients, traps and anything else you can lay your hands on within an entirely classless character progression system.
Whether you want to be a nimble-footed archer flinging fireballs between arrows or face your foes, toe to toe as an axe-wielding whirlwind of death; the choice is yours.

The Vale of Vahrin is beset by threats from both within and without, the perfect place for a mercenary in search of their next contract.
Rival mercenaries, bandits, monstrous beasts and even hideous creatures infest the Vale of Vahrin, ready and waiting for their bounties to be claimed.
Master intense real-time action combat and adapt to every challenge, ensuring that no enemy, no matter how powerful, can stand in your way.

Aid the survivors in their personal tales of grief, love and even humour, as they fight back against the overwhelming odds facing Vahrin.
Traverse a world steeped in beauty and mystery, from overgrown city streets to magical caverns and murky bogs, each hand-crafted to test your resolve.
Scour every corner; leaving no stone unturned in your quest to discover hidden treasures, unravel lost mysteries, and claim the spoils of Vahrin for your own.

The city of Vahrin found itself overwhelmed by a swarm of the grotesque, insect-like creatures known as khraiax.
In response, many of the Free Cities, united under the banner of the Combined Order, sent their armies to confront this terrible threat.
But victory was not to be theirs, for while the khraiax stood little chance against the might of the combined forces, a far greater danger rose from beneath the city’s streets.
Vahrin’s king lies dead, along with thousands of soldiers who marched to the city’s aid. Now only its most stalwart defenders remain, desperately fighting to reclaim their beloved home.

Vahrin’s Call stands as its own complete tale, yet it forms just one part of a sweeping epic narrative that spans nations and continents.
What begins as smaller, isolated struggles becomes part of a greater saga, where every character’s trial, every kingdom’s war, and every act of courage or betrayal weaves the tapestry of the unfolding story throughout the world.
The game is fun, but maybe wait for a discount.
I must also point out that the developer team is rather small, so maybe the game will become more polished and issues will be addressed, but it is pretty fine as it is. Let's list pros and cons to allow the reader to make a decision, first the cons:

Enemies are rather dumb, they will not notice kills, they will not hide or move, they will not even attempt to find you until you stumble upon them. In the late game there will be enemies that pose some more challenge, so it looks like a design choice maybe? I've played on medium difficulty though.
In the end game difficulty spikes, locations grow very large and convoluted, enemy count also rises a lot. You may become overwhelmed, especially since enemies will re-spawn on re-load, and in some locations even if you run too far away.
In some places my video card sounded really loud, I assume the game may not be very well optimised, but it looked like it should run fine for the most part.
Picking up items requires targeting a rather small area, you may pick without doing that by holding the interaction button, but I kept forgetting about it and it requires some waiting, so not ideal.
Item economy is a bit weird, you need to dismantle some items once to discover the parts, but then it makes no sense to break down the rest of items as you would get more parts by selling the item and buying the materials from a merchant that will stock everything you have discovered.
And the pros:

The game is pretty, at least for the most part, I didn't like the saturation overdrive in the beginning, but either I got used to it, or it got balanced somewhere mid game.
Progression system feels nice and satisfactory, albeit it feels like you reach max level too fast and then it immediately gets hard to balance skill points.
There are some puzzles that felt nice, even if those were not rocket science.
A setting to enable quest markers on the map is a great thing, I've played most of the game with those disabled and only enabled those in the epilogue to keep track of some quests where I felt like I already have been everywhere (of course I've missed a door)
You don't need to bother with inventory management, only with what you wear.
Searching for genomey is fun, if frustrating a bit sometimes.
I've heard people comparing it to Fable, but it reminded me more of Elden Ring just with difficulty toned way down and colours toned way up. The story is not exactly very interesting, but it's fine, and the best part is exploring the place and enjoying the scenery, in my opinion. You can definitely finish the game way faster than me if you're not planning to hunt down every item and finish every quest (this I haven't completed yet), I would estimate main story to be 4–8 hours. Right now less than 5% of players have achievement for completing the main quest, by the way, I hope this will change in the future.

ich finds super, viel zu sammeln, viel zu entdecken, alles schön gemütlich und entspannt. Es läuft auch gut und ohne Probleme, sehr viel anpassbar, für mich ein wunderschönes Game.
I like this game. I'm taking my time with and I'm enjoying the scenery. Combat is pretty good for an indie studio. Honestly, I'm excited to see what this studio could do with more resources and a supportive fan base. My major critique is the soundtrack, its not very in depth and repetitive. At first it invokes atmosphere, but quickly gets redundant.
So far I am really enjoying this game. I had been looking for a kinda casual exploration game and this is definitely scratching that itch. The humor is a nice added touch. I look forward to seeing what additions the dev team come up with
Overall enjoyed my time with it, sits between a 7 or 7.5 for me. Better than most small indie teams could do. The combat was a little restrictive and i mostly had to bow that final boss down out of fear of constant death, albeit i was on the hardest difficulty. But even then the game had no real challenge unless it was set to that. Even then the enemies were relatively weak up until the final area. I mostly went through the MSQ and the story was somewhat ok.
The game is bland. There's not much to gravitate to. Rather play the Gothic Remake
So far i'm really liking fable-esque game play!
Actually a positive here. TLDR; "Pretty much Fable 2" (no, not the sloppy "Fable" that's currently under development). The Devs definitely captured the original Fable vibes (graphic style, puzzles, finding... and janky animations at a time). Pretty chill and fun RPG made in the old fashion, with a bit of modern solutions. Combat is fine, magic is fine, crafting etc. all is good for me. Ofc. there are things tha are bad as well: - the interface is sometimes a pain, made me wonder many times "BUT WHY?", also it's to minimallistic, - got bugged few times, with not being able to draw any weapon (had to restart checkpoint), - the performance is bad, like really bad-bad, and that has to be fixed (most of it goes on GPU, so IMO the CPU reqs are overestimated), - we got all the fancy loot colors configuration but no font configuration (the letters font is really hard to read) Even tho i wanted to slam a negative here, I still think it's a good title, but the devs have to fix it a bit and optimize it a lil.
A great game with a rocky launch.
