This is an appalling, lazy 2D retro pixel platformer (one of literally thousands of these games infesting Steam). With this particular platformer, once more we are left to wonder if it was incompetence or a desire to deliberately make a completely awful game that propels us to the very lowest level of quality in video games imaginable. Here, the game immediately insults PC gamers by advising that the developers were unable to make the keyboard controls work properly, citing a bug they had identified but not fixed related to control ghosting (part of that is of course they used a terrible off the rack game engine here, after all, laziness goes hand in hand with indie retro pixel games). To get around this, the developers double down on their insult to PC gamers by suggesting you should use a console peasant childrens toy controller instead of KB+M. And of course while there are keyboard controls, they're set to incomprehensible and unusable default settings, making me question whether the "developers" here ever played a video game before, but it's understandable there's not much time for that between shifts at McDonalds. Retro pixel "art" has been used as a very poor substitute for contemporary PC graphics. For some reason they chose to not even do retro properly, and seem to have gone for some kind of fixed 1:1 aspect ratio (not even 4:3... come on, it can't be that hard to make a game deliberately bad on purpose, can it?) All in all this is a complete train wreck of abysmally low quality, awful graphics, worse gameplay, and an affront to all things that make the PC the best gaming platform around. To twist the knife, the developers also seem to think people will genuinely pay $8.50 for this mess.

I'll make this short since it's the first review I've made. I'm giving this game 10/10 points. I would love to give it 11, but there is a problem. It's the fact that I can only give 10 points. Gameplay is fun, even after playing it for 100+ hours. The graphics are very aesthetic, they remind me of those old retro games and you can definitely tell that the creator put effort into them. One may have a problem with the 1:1 screen, but I didn't mind it at all. Soundtrack is really really good, could listen to it for hours. Story is very interesting. Average completion time is 3 hours, which is okay, wish it was a little longer. Bosses are easy once you know how they work, however it can be really hard if you're playing for the first time and don't have the majority of the upgrades, which applied to me. Other than that, I really enjoyed it. Overall great game, I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes platformers. I didn't expect anything else from Ivan. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic little platformer! Tight controls, good level design, interesting challenges, nice music, great story - everything is in it's place. Gameplay is similar to Megaman X, the difficulty can be tough if you don't play a lot of platformers like this, but it's manageable even for beginners if you take time to master controls. It's a real shame this game isn't better known. Give it try you won't regret it.
Gameplay
Consigliatissimo!
A bit late at doing a review of this game, but even now it's a rather charming yet short game. Whilst the music might not be the quality that you'd see with any modern ages games, it's hauntingly good! Add that onto the story being fairly good and a small mix that leaves an impact is created: Firework.
I've just beaten the game and I gotta say. It's probably one of the best games of 2018. It's fun, and the story keeps you interested. The music and graphics are amazing aswell. If you're into hard as balls platforming, amazing graphics or a complex story, this game is for you!
Great story, fun and challenging gameplay, recommended The ost is awesome <3
I really loved this game, the gameplay and controls are really tight and well done, it seems to be inspired by Megaman X but it goes beyond that adding more unique moves to the character and the level design goes really well along it, the story was interesting and keep me going to find out more and more about it (I got the true ending too), the music is also really good and the game also has a lot of enemy variety and cool boss fights. If you're a fan of 2D fast paced platformers like Megaman X, you'll totally love this and I recommend it throughfully!
Simply delightful game: controls are super smooth and fun to use, physics are interesting, borrowing great inspiration from the Megaman X series; characters are charming and the plot is very interesting; the music fits perfectly. I'm really pleasantly surprised by this game. If you have played and liked Cave Story, and want to re-live what you felt when you first did, this game is for you; and if you want some smooth MegamanX-like action, this game's the cake.
