About

UNITED AGAINST FIRE. Face unpredictable dangers head-on, fight perilous fires with your crew, and save lives in Firefighting Simulator: Ignite. Step into the boots of a U.S. firefighter in a sprawling city in the American Midwest, where every mission pushes your skills to the limit. Experience the rush of firefighting in stunning visual quality in an intuitive and cooperative multiplayer mode with 3 friends or with the help of your NPC controlled crew. Battle raging and dynamic flames, heat, and smoke – all simulated in real time. Cutting-edge physics & graphics systems powered by Unreal Engine 5 let you experience firefighting immersion like never before.

Over your career, you deal with a range of challenging situations, like trapped civilians, electric fires, flammable liquids, grease fires, backdrafts, flashovers, and explosions. Equip yourself with authentic firefighting tools, including fire hoses, saws, Halligan tools, axes, and extinguishers, and use faithfully recreated fire engines and ladder trucks. Use the right tactics and methods with precision to put out blazing flames.

Each mission requires real-life firefighting strategies, such as ventilating to curb fire spread, cooling down overheated objects, sawing through obstacles, reducing air drafts, and selecting the proper extinguishing agent. But stay alert for signs of imminent danger, like thick smoke finding its way through closed doors and presenting the potential for a major disaster.
But don’t worry: you can learn how to fight fire and the use your tools properly back at the fire station hub, which serves as your headquarters between emergency operations. Relax between missions, inspect the large vehicle fleet that includes faithfully recreated trucks from Rosenbauer, and choose your next assignment.
So, when the emergency call comes in, make sure you get the job done by taking the shortest route to the emergency scene, fighting the fires, and saving lives together.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is great, there's map mods and some of the community maps are truly enjoyable to play. The AI is hopeless and unpredictable but I kind of like that because it adds as element of unpredictability and challenge if you're playing solo. Getting the job done solo even with AI making weird decisions is so satisfying. AI being poor, ironically, adds replayable as well as every mission turns out different depening on your AI teammates. For "impossible to solo" maps, just set AI to focus on rescuing victims and learn the map to develop the sequence you need to follow to ensure success. Usually it's turn off gas valve, electricity breaker and rescue victims in immediate danger.
MAN. As some one who was actually really excited for the sequel to this game. im kinda torn on how i feel about it. All the new features and mini-games, the scenarios, graphics even have come a long way. But the AI is straight up NOT helpful. Most missions im putting fires out by myself. Either theyre spraying down walls with no fire on them, not aiming correctly or just wandering around the map in circles and im in a room fully ingufled in fire by myself and yes i am cmmanding them to come to my location and/or out out fires and will help me for five seconds and decide the vending machine that refueses to go out unless you spray it a certain angle on the other side of the map is more benficial. Also the alarm mode...Another fantastic feature. However, why are we recommending rolling the T-rex for a corner store on fire and the LARGE INDUSTRIAL FIRE, the small ariel that can barely reach the roof. Next when the ai is serching rooms for victim that me the player has already entered, searched, and then closed the door behind me to prevent fire spread. The ai is coded to search every single room on the mission. Granted if the ai uses a ground ladder to path-find its way on to the floor, no problem with that. but when theyre up my A** doing re work leaving the door open so now the tire floor the fire can just openly spread everywhere and nothing beneficial to the search. dude just go grab a hose line and leave me alone. The ai in the previous game felt so much better and helpful than this. Some missions are down right impossible on hard as well. One mission theres a room full of gas cans on fire with a person in it. you cant even get to the room before they start igniting and with in less than 30 seconds your downed victim is already dead or youre dead from standing in the fire, makes no sense. And in my final rant Stop releasing crappy cosmetic DLC's if the profits arnt fixing the core gameplay and its mechanics. Even one of the summer camp levels mind you theres only THREE. and one of them again impossible to complete even on medium cause the house is already fully involved in fire when you get on scene. Youre litteraly clearing a path in front of you to walk on the ground with a hose to get to a victim. Connect a new attack line walk to the next victim walk back and repeat since the ai isnt capable of saving anyone without going down themselves or putting out fires

I understand that I'm playing on a potato but this game is very poorly optimized. The gameplay is solid, but the AI is a bit all over the place sometimes, and more importantly the NPCs that need to be rescued can bug out requiring a restart. At $35 for the base game the content is pretty short, I got the Year 1 edition and it hasn't really been worth it. TL:DR If you have money to burn or particularly enjoy firefighting, give it a go. If you're gaming on a budget or on a potato give it a pass.
Very expensive to be able to finish in 20 hours after that the game is just repeating the same few calls
