Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Overall, a good fun game especially given the era of games it was made in. The overhauled graphics and quality of life improvements that have been added in this port makes this a worthwhile game, especially if you want to start from where it all began for this series.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Delicinha de perder horas e horas jogando👌👌
Recommend playing alongside the official guide book, unless you're using an AI companion like Grok alongside the game when you get stuck. This game offers minimal directions and while there's probably a single NPC in the world out there that can give you guidance on where to go it's not clear which NPC you'd need to talk to in order to get this information and your destination can and often will be on the opposite side of the continent. That said, the actual gameplay is pretty solid especially for a game of its time. I'm sure it's gone through a monstrous level of QOL to make it as enjoyable as it is, but the combat is fun, the leveling feels satisfying on the major level ups, there's a minimal amount of grind to max out gear/spells but it's never too difficult. Structure of the game is slightly like D&D, there's spell slots instead of MP where you can use each level of spell a certain number of times before you need to take a short/long rest. In the beginning you'll have to do all your long rests at an inn to fully recover but as you get to midgame/end of the manual you'll have practically unlimited long rests you can use any time in the overworld. Wild encounter pools in areas feel kinda bloated like there's a lot of different things you can encounter in different quantities, even so much as finding 9 enemies as your first encounter right outside of the city. It's not always clear where the dividing lines for monster encounter zones are and early on you might wander into scorpions which could completely devastate your team, especially with some oddities like poison not healing from resting at an inn but only with antidotes and the like. But even that is kind of part of the charm, feels like how old MMOs used to divide groups of monsters a bit. Music is fine, lots of it is repeated, not a ton of variety but you get access to both the original and arranged versions. It's not quite at the level you'd expect for a Final Fantasy to be at for music yet but it's servicable. Art is good, no complaints with how the pixel remaster looks. Monster designs are already really good and you learn to clearly identify what each thing is and what it does. Absolutely do not recommend turning the fake CRT mode on though. Despite the weirdness of design choices & the unclear paths to take it's still overall an enjoyable experience that I'd recommend. It's not quite the Final Fantasy most people would know yet but it's a fair-good 6.5/10 JRPG experience.
black mage go brrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Um clássico que eu joguei pela primeira vez no PS1, continua tão bom quanto na época
Final Fantasy
I didn't grow up with Final Fantasy, but I knew I had to get into the series at some point. And what better way to start than at the very beginning. + More approachable than I initially expected for an old school jrpg + Great music (which I already know by heart even before playing, due to listening to covers/remixes for years) - How the heck would one know that unequipping the monk makes him stronger.
Классная игра, получил долю кайфа
