Fun to go back to the origin of the Final Fantasy-series. The game is pretty straight forward and "basic" in terms of RPG-elements, but its a good remaster and the updates to the music are great!. Also some added quality of life-features are welcome.
Story was interesting to find, i miss this combat style. #turnbaseftw
Easy to 100% in about 2-3 days of playing. Not too difficult. Need to grind for 2-3 levels occasionally, but not hard to do. Fun little story, not too crazy but does tickle a part of your brain responsible for the 'Wow factor' Good game to complete if you like any Final Fantasy.

This game has aged despite the remaster. Is it a good game? Yes. But it's not what most people are used to when it comes to rpgs. There is no hand holding, non at all. While not a bad thing it can be hard to know where to go after a certain point. Especially when the world opens up. This game is made a lot better by the fact you can increase the exp you can get and turn of random encounters otherwise this game would take a lot longer. Also the sudden jump between every boss and the final boss is crazy. Other than that I'd buy it if you're interested in seeing where this series started otherwise I'd just leave it.

This game is older than many game developers today, and it delivered what most of them combined couldn’t. Despite its age, it has amazing graphics, game mechanics, story, and music that destroys many AAA games. In fact, I can’t name a single AAA game I’d rather play over this one. Thanks, Square Enix. I can’t wait to play the rest of this franchise!
