An epic dark fantasy where fates are decided by mighty Eikons and the Dominants who wield them. This is the tale of Clive Rosfield, a tragic warrior who swears revenge on the Dark Eikon Ifrit, a mysterious entity that leaves naught but calamity in its wake.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About
A plethora of powerful swordplay techniques and Eikonic abilities lie within Clive's remit—and it is up to you to decide which ones you wish to learn or upgrade. If you're having trouble choosing, upgrades can be unlocked automatically.
Story-focused mode is recommended for those players who are less comfortable with action games and wish to focus more on the game's story elements. In this mode, Clive will automatically evade some attacks, and epic Eikonic combos can be triggered with simple button presses. Action-focused mode, where Clive's every action is controlled by the player, is available for those who are confident in their skill—or want to test it.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best AU #76, worst BR #100 · 5 markets collected
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 21.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 25.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I love this game and have played it multiple times through on PS5 and picked it up on the steam sale to experience it with the capabilities of the PC however that was not the best idea. The current version of the game is constantly freezing to the point I have to force quit the game. This tends to happen at least once per gaming session and has caused me to re-battle multiple bosses and loose hours of progress. Overall I think this game is a great game, just I cannot recommend a broken product.

Recommended The first thing I want to say is this: Despite Steam marking Final Fantasy XVI as "Unsupported", it is absolutely playable on Steam Deck. I played almost the entire game on my OLED Steam Deck, and while it isn't a perfect experience, it is far better than the compatibility badge suggests. With optimized settings and an unlocked TDP, I usually got 30–45 FPS, with some drops during large Eikon battles, but nothing that made the game unplayable. If you've been avoiding it because of Valve's rating, don't. It deserves at least a "Playable" badge. Now, about the game itself. Final Fantasy XVI delivers one of the strongest presentations I've ever seen in the series. The soundtrack is phenomenal, the cinematics are breathtaking, the voice acting is excellent, and the Eikon battles are unlike anything I've experienced in a JRPG. Every major boss fight feels like a cinematic event. The combat also surprised me. It starts off simple, but once you unlock more Eikons and abilities, it becomes fast, fluid, and incredibly satisfying. Experimenting with different skill combinations is one of the game's biggest strengths. That said, I don't think it's a perfect Final Fantasy. My biggest criticism is that it leans much more toward an action game than a traditional RPG. Equipment progression is fairly shallow, exploration is limited for much of the game, and many side quests feel like simple MMO-style errands. I also wish there had been more freedom to explore towns, dungeons, and the world in general. Still, as the game progresses, the world opens up more, the hunts become genuinely enjoyable, and chasing legendary gear becomes surprisingly addictive. In the end, Final Fantasy XVI may not be the RPG I was hoping for, but it is an unforgettable action experience with spectacular production values, memorable characters, and some of the best boss battles Square Enix has ever created. If you love Final Fantasy, epic stories, incredible music, and cinematic action combat, it's absolutely worth playing. Steam Deck Verdict: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Game Verdict: 8/10

Ritmo atropeyado, buenos graficos y gameplay divertido
優化爆幹差,調最低一直卡。我以為在看幻燈片。
