FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE

The greatest Final Fantasy.

20年前在PS2上玩并通关的第一款FF，那时候还不是黄道纪元这个版本，现在手机铃声还是用的kiss me goodbye，为少年时留个纪念吧。

This is the best game I've played, so far I've played the ff series 4,5,6,7 (remake) 15, and 16.. the names of the series I mentioned are honestly all good.. (even 4,5,6 which is the old game I enjoyed) But Final Fantasy 12 is something that I can't explain why I really like this game and you could even say I'm a little addicted to playing this game because I love it, I even play games like Zenless Zone Zero, Genshin Impact and am a little lazy about continuing the daily game because I really enjoy this game. << My review is really from the heart because I was really impressed by this game. Allow me to praise this game again, I have played 15 and 16 and even FF 7 (Remake and Rebirth) I am already 27 years old but this game ultimately gave me memories again about "Playing games for fun" this is really crazy for me, I really really appreciate the person behind the creation of the Final fantasy game... FF 15 is a game with a very interesting adventure because the mechanics are different from the previous series, FF 16 really can't be beat in terms of Cinematography which is very crazy, and FF 12 is the perfect autobattle mechanic series in my opinion (it's okay if you disagree because this is just my opinion). - OK, in terms of story, so far I'm very interested and I really like the Final Fantasy series because it presents a really interesting story. - In terms of battle, at first I was very doubtful... I've played games nowadays so I was a little "meh" with the battle mechanics, but over time I became addicted to the battle, this really doesn't make sense... I mean at first I was "meh" about the battle, so WTF is it that I'm so addicted? I really can't explain... or maybe I'm tired of just the same old battle games? lol -For the character design, I understand if there are some who don't like it when the cutscenes and gameplay look a little different... but believe me if you enjoy this game... it doesn't matter anymore (for the different parts of the cutscenes and gameplay to be honest I was a bit surprised because it was a bit different lol) - It looks like they provide a cheat for this game, but I didn't touch it because I'm pretty sure it's not fun, but if any of you have played this game and want to play it again without wasting a lot of time maybe this cheat will be useful (?) - This game only lacks indication of what new items we get, whether they are weapons, armor, magic, or items. For example, there is an item that i found in the "urn" called Vega. I have to check first in the inventory that this item called Vega is a firearm and it's a little annoying because I have to first check in the inventory and look for that name. Okay, this is my review so far because honestly I want to explore this game again hahaha, I've just arrived at "The Tomb of Raithwall" I don't know whether the story is still far away or not but so far I've just wandered around to explore other places. If you like the Final Fantasy series and want to play old games, I suggest buying this one first or the others don't matter (I plan to buy FF 10 when I finish this game), why do I recommend this game? because for me the mechanic is just interesting, you can change your party while you are fighting and that's unique and honestly, if in the end Square Enix makes a "Remake" of the FF 12 Series with the same type of mechanics, I will immediately buy it. I very rarely make reviews about games because I only buy and focus on playing, but for this game I really praise this game and review it

its very nostalgic game for me its holds a special place in my heart i think this the game that expanded my imagination also improved my English i highly recommend it for every turn base rpg fans

Очень классная финалка, странно что о ней будто бы меньше всего говорят и не упоминают. Сама по себе она ооочень сильно отличается от всех предыдущих частей, сюжетом, боёвкой, миром, всё здесь по-другому. Сюжет интересный, но не каждому зайдёт. Здесь он с акцентом на политику, интрижки правителей различные, и соответственно 99% персонажей очень серьёзные, умные, не хватает моментов, где эта серьёзность разбавляется. Её максимум разбавить могут иногда Балтьер своей харизмой и Фран своим нарядом и ракурсами))) Также сам главный герой совсем не яркий, второстепенные персонажи более значимыми кажутся. Он тут выступает скорее в роли наблюдателя за происходящим, как большие дяди и тёти свои дела делают. Я в эту игру начал играть после 10-2, где наоборот я от обилия кринжа умирал, на контрасте это забавно выглядит и наверное поэтому меня не душил сюжет тут, но подобные истории и подача не для каждого всё равно. Геймплей мне прям зашёл, получал от него удовольствия больше, чем от истории, честно говоря. Я так и не понял в чём магия, но мне так интересно было тут бегать по миру, проходить квесты, хотя они не сказать что супер, обычные просто. Это было просто залипательно и медитативно можно сказать. Возможно дело в боёвке, которая изначально меня смущала и она странно выглядела, а как я понял что с ней можно делать, то залип. Она теперь не пошаговая, хотя при желании можно подобие такой сделать всё равно, но это будет бред. Тут боёвка устроена через систему гамбитов, которая позволяет давать команды персонажам, что им делать при определённых обстоятельствах, и они будут автоматически это всё выполнять. Например, если у любого союзника будет <40% хп, то используй лечебное заклинание. И там вариантов какие команды им можно давать куча, а наблюдать как это всё автоматически работает одно удовольствие. Жаль, что такая боёвка по итогу не прижилась и от неё ушли в последующих частях. Также в этой версии игры есть ускорение в 2/4 раза, что позволяет однотипные битвы или долгие прогулки по локациям сильно сократить, от чего духануться почти не успеваешь если что-то затянутое встречается. Единственный момент который немного разочаровал, так это музыка. Она здесь неплохая, бесспорно, но она работает только внутри самой игры. В сравнении с прошлыми частями это минус, финалки всё же музыкой тоже славятся, и я в каждой игре находил для себя хотя бы парочку крутых, а тут такого нет. Игру естественно всем рекомендую, мимо этой части проходить уж точно не стоит, она незаслуженно забытая будто. Могу только не рекомендовать тем, кому политические истории вот СОВСЕМ не нравятся.

The game don't run, you just get a white screen and error message. I wish square could do something about this. Is so frustrating a old game like this still have this kind of bugs in 2026. I will change this review if square do something about it
